They are better than the foil we were using for the kids sandwiches. No more soggy sandwiches that taste like metal. The 500 qty stack was about an inch and a half thick that we got, (AA battery next to it for size context). Difficult to store but it found a good place on the counter out of the way. Just leave it in the plastic wrap it comes in so they don’t get everywhere. The size fits a 6 inch plain bollilo sandwich. I haven’t tried a larger sandwich. It does not get any oils on the outside of the wrapper so other items in the lunch bag don’t get soiled. Ours were 12x12, brown. Do not tear too easily or turn to mush. Easy to fold and the stack never seems to get smaller as we use them.

We got these for our house because we go through so many plates. These work great for burgers, burritos, snacks, food baskets. They have saved so many dirty dishes and lasted so long

Four stars because, well, they’re just squares of paper and nothing remarkable. But for unremarkable squares of paper, they do have a surprising range of utility in the kitchen. Good for wrapping small perishable items (while not airtight, hard and medium hard cheeses wrapped in this paper will stay protected for several days. Softer cheeses should be double wrapped, because the paper tends to wick/bleed some of the cheese’s moisture…), convenient for putting down as a quick mess barrier on a surface you’d rather not have to clean (e.g, cutting boards…). Durable enough that you can put a pork cutlet or chicken breast between two sheets and pound it flat (n.b, works better with denser meats - chicken sometimes sticks to the paper…). Also, a pleasing thickness - weird thing to notice, but whatever - it folds and creases nicely without feeling flimsy, but is pliable enough that you can wrap a sandwich with it and not feel like you’re bending sheet metal.

I recently purchased the 12 x 12 Grease Proof Deli Wrappers, a 500 pack of pre-cut natural wax paper, and have been quite satisfied with their performance. These wrappers do exactly what they're meant to do - providing a reliable, grease-proof barrier for food items. However, I do want to address a point about the product presentation. When ordering, be aware that the actual pack is smaller than it appears in the product images. The 500 sheets stack up to about 2 inches in height, contrary to the impression of a much larger pack as shown in the pictures. While this was initially surprising, the quantity appears accurate. It's just a matter of the product photography creating a different expectation regarding the pack size. In summary, if you're in the market for reliable, grease-proof deli wrappers, this product is a solid choice. Just keep in mind the actual size of the pack to avoid any surprises upon delivery.
