The brand name says coliro but all the reviews and pictures show finetec brand paints. are coliro and finetec the same brand?

As of Jan 2018, Finetec changed it's branding from Finetec to Finetec Coliro. The new packaging says Coliro. In the back it will say from Finetec company. You may receive the old packaging while it's still being phased out. But either way, the paints inside are exactly the same.

I have the pearl colors,12 set, and i need a refill pot for fine gold. where can i buy refill pots?

Depends on your location and whether sellers on amazon send it your way ; you can get the refills on amazon too - just look for it by the name of the color and "refill" or just under "coliro watercolor refill" it will show you all the avail' colors

Can these be used to touch up gold leafed wood/metal furniture and picture frames? I am having trouble matching colors. If not any other suggestion?

Since these are water-based i would think not, as if any liquid touches them they will reactivate. They used to make a gold-leaf/metallic “wax” paste one could use, called rub’n buff. It came in different metallic colors like bronze, copper, gold etc. you might be able to mix they color you want!

When you are using these for pointed pen, do you mix with water first or are they already the right consistency?
