Better than Tennis Ball, More Effective Relief
Before purchasing these I was using a racquetball, a tennis ball and a fairly hard yoga ball (came in kit with yoga props). None of them did the job of releasing sore spots and muscle tension well enough (too soft, too squishy, too hard - I know, I sound like Goldilocks ๐คฃ). These Tuneup therapy balls are perfect! They are soft, but dense - have the perfect amount of give, yet firm enough to work deep if you want without hurting because they are also still soft. Sounds like a contradiction, but try them and youโll know what I mean. I find Iโm getting greater release of tight muscles, facia and greater relief from pain with these therapy balls. I have also bought the larger size therapy ball - itโs great for back, shoulders, back of thighs, forearms. The net bag (included) is helpful for using the two balls together on base of skull, down spine. Added plus, I store the two balls together now, so when I need them Iโm not searching around the house. With purchase you are sent a downloadable 6 page newsletter that contains excellent and helpful info on techniques and use of the therapy balls. Thank you for that! Well worth the purchase price.

These are fantastic for working out muscles that hurt
I love these yoga balls. I donโt know why everybody is grumbling about them. They work on your poor tired muscles. They do have an odor to them, but after plenty of use, so Iโm sure that will wear off. Iโm not worried about the smell. Iโm not using them on my face. I think theyโre made of some sort of rubber because they are squishy not hard. Theyโre very easy to use and they are helping my pain.

A perfect pair!
I've been exploring tools for massage and recovery lately and was initially going to get a foam set of balls instead but decided on this last minute and am so very glad that I did! I am genuinely blown away with how effective these are right out of the package! I tried one on its own at first on my neck and immediately felt the familiar crunch of knots being worked out but not in a painful way. These balls have just enough give to feel cushy while still being firm enough to get the job done. I used the same approach later on my wife's back and she practically melted! I later used them together in the pouch on my neck and lower back. It was a bit of trial and error to find the right spot for my lower back but they definitely work! I also explored their website and found a fair amount of free simple tutorial videos on basic techniques for using the balls on different areas of the body. They do have other options for videos but the subscription seems pretty pricey. I might look into getting the book though that teaches you more of these maneuvers because the balls are really useful. Oh, keep in mind that if you lay directly on the balls, it can be quite a lot of pressure, like a thumb. The plus model is supposed to be a bit gentler as they are larger, this is the smallest size they make, which does make them easy to take with you if you happened to be traveling etc. I could definitely see myself using these for a long time to come and also getting some extras for gifts or just as backup! If you're even remotely thinking of exploring self massage for pain relief, working out stubborn knots, etc this set is very worthwhile. 100% would recommend.

Good for feet, blemishes on ball
They work great on my feet. I have pain in my arch that is affecting my big toe joint. Loosening the fascia with rolling has helped a lot. The ball itself has some blemishes, so donโt look too closely.

Fantastic Massage Tool
My yoga instructor introduced these to me in one of our classes. Each ball itself is a nice size and gives just the right amount of pressure on the area you put it in. I also like that the material keeps it in place a little more easily than a tennis ball (which can be slightly too large and too hard). Then my yoga instructor showed us how you can keep these two little balls within it's bag and lie down to massage it alongside your neck, spine, shins... that has been the biggest game-changer for me! Previously I'd struggle to keep two tennis balls symmetrical along my spine or shin, but now this little bag will do it for you. I use these regularly several times a month. Also they have come in handy during my travels when I know I'll have to walk a lot. They're small and easy to pack. After a long day of walking, being able to sit or lie down and use these with just my bodyweight with these massage balls to get some relief has been really fantastic. This is definitely one of the essential tools I use now to ease any of my body aches or muscle soreness!

Long Lasting/ great for travel
I purchased these as a second set. I am a teacher and I keep one in my desk for a quick lunchtime back and shoulder tension breaker. They have a good firmness but not overpowering and are soft at the same time. It is better than a tennis or lacrosse ball to relieve tension for feet as well. The little bag is good and keeps them from getting lost.

Great , simple, inexpensive massage tool
Perfect to massage muscles around hip after hip replacement! My husband bought a massage gun, but the pressure is too strong, and I like being able to use the balls without being dependent on someone else, and no charging or plug is needed! Iโd been using tennis balls against a wall for years as suggested by my PT, but these are much better because the slight stickiness of the rubber means they donโt slip out of place. Also like that the mesh case enables me to use them as a โpeanutโ for my neck and spine. Inexpensive solution!
