Living in Hawaii, beaches with fine-grain sand are common, making it difficult to anchor shade tools into the ground. I am impressed with this 8ft AMMSUN umbrella. I’ve gone through so many beach umbrellas, but this one is high quality and easy to construct. The Integrated Sand Anchor: It’s heavy-duty and makes it so easy to drill into the sand. Once it’s locked in, it doesn't budge. High Wind Resistance: Our beaches can be gusty and this stayed perfectly stable. The venting at the top really helps with the airflow. Massive Coverage: The 8-foot span is huge! It easily provided enough shade for 2 chairs, beach bags, and a blanket. Portable: For such a large, heavy-duty umbrella, it’s surprisingly easy to carry in the included bag.

Great Umbrella! Pretty colors. Very sturdy! I love to be on the beach, but can't get sun like I used to. So, I needed something to shield the sun, which this umbrella does very well.. It was easy to put together and has not blown away yet!! It even fits back in the bag!

I bought this for an upcoming beach trip. I haven't actually used it yet, but did take it out to the patio and opened it up. It seems to be well made and sturdy. The material seems to be very good quality as well. It's larger than my current beach umbrella, which I've had for many years and has seen better days. I cant wait to get it out to the beach!!

Well made, large umbrella. Worked well at beach. Recently purchased & used it July 2025. Three of us fit under it. But it did come out of the sand one day when my daughter had set it up. We were not there when she did it. I don’t think she used the handle piece to turn it tightly into the sand. A man nearby helped when I was trying to get it securely in again on a windy day. After he helped, it stayed in. I was wondering how the rental wooden stick type stay in the ground well? This one is plastic base as most are I think. And I turned it on an angle at one time, see video here. I think that helped with wind. It did move around when put on angle slant. But it stayed in the ground.

Very happy with this Ammsun 8 feet large beach umbrella. Our family normally rents an umbrella at the beach but last year we decided to go out on a limb and purchase one. After reading many reviews, I landed on this one and I’m so glad we did. Even on a very windy day our umbrella stayed extremely sturdy and had great stability. It’s not very heavy to carry to the beach and comes with a carrying sleeve great value for the money and we will get many years of use.

This is sturdy and easy to use! Great for our beach trip. Perfect shade for my son to nap under. We had a slight problem with our umbrella but customer service replaced it quickly!

Held up amazing for a week at the beach. While I’ve only used it on one vacation I have several family members that have owned this umbrella for years and it’s still going strong! It goes up really easy and is shockingly large. It is on the heavier side but that’s the trade off for having something really sturdy that isn’t going to fly away or fall apart on you. Worth the price for quality in my opinion.

This umbrella is a great size, the corkscrew base for sand works well. The Color is nice and vibrant.

This umbrella was very stable. Once it was stuck deep into the sand, it never really moved from its position for the entire day at the beach. I am very happy with this purchase.
