Buy it. Skip the reviews. I did all of that for you
On some real ish, As a person who heavily reviews every product I buy over $100. this one Was worth every penny. A great sturdy, and spacious yet slim treadmill. Overall 10/10. I set this up in my basement so I would say unboxed wherever you are going to keep it. The functions were very easy to understand. No manual needed. The speed is perfect. Incline is amazing. No weird smells everything clean and bagged properly. The set up was very easy. I would say watch the set up video instead of using the book.

Great treadmill-Need 2 people for some of installation
I was going to buy a more expensive one but glad I read the reviews on this one. Just like everyone states, this is a good quality treadmill, very easy to install, even better the instructions were easy to follow! I'd like to emphasize you need at least 2 people to get it out of the box-that was the hardest thing to do. It's packed wonderfully for protecting the treadmill, but the treadmill is 145lb+ and a dead weight. And a extra hand to mount the display, because you have to connect the cords coming out of the display and the frame before you can slide the display into place-one person can not hold the display and the connect the cords at the same time. The wheels work great on a rug, it's super easy to fold up and extend out. I was able to use the book holder that I use on my bike-you'll need a 9x11x2 size. And love the cup holders too! Very happy with the controls, yes, it takes a bit to get it going plus the controls on the railing are too easy to keep hitting while gripping the railing but just got to get used to it. Very easy to adjust the controls & get a great workout. No rocking or feeling of shakes from the treadmill even when I run. And its quiet! It's almost a year now and I still love this treadmill. When I've had questions on operational things, the service dept is quick to respond and solved all my issues mostly due to me not reading the manual.

Good Treadmill, but Customer Service is TERRIBLE! UPDATE!!!!
I did quite a bit of research for a new treadmill, and TheRun consistently ranked as one of the best. The assembly went quite well, and I was excited to put it to use immediately. I logged a quick 2 miles and felt that I received a great product. The next day, when I turned on the power, I heard the chirps, and the screen showed only the time of day and the odometer. I could not get the motor to engage, and I could not get any other functions to work. I sent TheRun Customer Service an email on the 9th of Feb. to discuss the issues with the treadmill and received an immediate response within hours of submission. Customer Service said that a representative would contact me within 48 hours to resolve my issues. Well, it's been 7 days and not a word, an email, or a call. I sent another email, and I still have not heard a word. Now I'm glad that I purchased a protection plan to get this treadmill working. Don't get me wrong, I like the treadmill, but the customer support is terrible. UPDATE! I didn't realize the reason for the lack of communication was due to the Chinese New Year, thus everyone was out of the office. Zora from THERUN reached out to me to rectify my dissatisfaction. After a few back-and-forth emails, Zora generously offered to send a brand new treadmill, and within a few days, it arrived. Needless to say, I'm very happy, and the treadmill works flawlessly! Thanks Zora!!

Good bang for your buck
I've had this treadmill for about 2 weeks and figured it was time to leave a review. The treadmill was super easy to assemble, probably only took me about 15 mins. They send you lubrication to put under the belt before your first use. That was the hardest part of the whole assembly because I didn't want to loosen the belt since it was aligned perfectly. After assembly I put the safety key in and the treadmill wouldn't start. The safety key seems quite cheap and came bent so I tried my best to bend it back into place but it still wouldn't work unless I turned it to the right (like starting a car) and held it in place. I emailed the company who responded within 48 hours and sent me a new safety key which arrived within the week. In the meantime I taped the old safety key into place so I could still use the treadmill. Once the new safety key arrived I tried it and the treadmill still wouldn't start. I ended up unscrewing the panel behind where the inner part of the safety key is housed. There was a small metal piece that needs to come into contact with the safety key in order for it to function. That piece of metal was bent to the left, therefore not making good contact with the safety key. Once I bent it back so it was straight the safety key worked perfectly fine. Phew! I have been using the treadmill for HIIT with a speed of 8 mph for my max. The width and length of the belt are perfectly fine for me (5'5 female) but my husband who is 6'2 finds the belt a little narrow for his liking. The incline/decline functions works well and at a decent pace, as does changing the speed. I read a lot of reviews on treadmills in this price range that stated it took forever for the speed to adjust. I don't have that issue with this treadmill. Overall I am very happy with this treadmill, especially for the price point. I would recommend it to anyone who is a mild to moderate runner. It probably wouldn't live up to the expectations of a marathon runner. Overall I am glad I bought it and would purchase it again.

Quality Treadmill; Easy Assembly; Packaging Damaged in Shipment
Update: We've used the treadmill for a few weeks now. It is easy to operate. It feels well built and solid. Keep in mind that at 79 and 77 we're at the low end of the usage scale. Feels like a good investment for our health. Original Review: When the UPS driver dropped off the package I was worried. Multiple large tears in the package and pieces of the treadmill were sticking out. BUT - I was surprised that the treadmill was in great shape - nary a scratch. I'm 79 so getting a 100-plus pound treadmill to our basement was a challenge, but I managed it with some creativity. It is slightly wider than most 28" doors so that took a little maneuvering to get it through. I did the assembly by myself. It was straight forward and did not require any extra tools. All of the parts and accessories feel heavy duty and like they will last. The power cord was a bit short for my preferred location, but I moved it to get access to an outlet. Haven't tried all of the bells and whistles on it, but basic use is easy and intuitive. Was pleasantly surprised that by calling them they extended the warranty for another year and are sending me a mat to put under the treadmill. (If I had mentioned that in the listing I wouldn't have purchased a separate mat when I ordered the treadmill.).

Great for home use
I’ve been using this treadmill for about a week now and I’m genuinely impressed. First off, the assembly was incredibly easy—took me less than 30 minutes to set up with clear instructions, which is heavy so 2 people to move it out of box would be ideal. It’s perfect for home use, especially in smaller spaces, because the foldable design saves so much room when not in use. What sets this model apart is the Bluetooth connectivity, which allows me to sync with fitness apps and stream music directly to the built-in speakers. The adjustable auto incline is also a huge plus, helping me add variety to my workouts without having to stop and adjust manually. It feels sturdy and runs quietly, which is important since I use it in an apartment. Considering all the features, this treadmill is definitely worth the price. Great value, solid performance, and perfect for anyone looking to stay active at home. Highly recommended!

Forget those cheap and unsafe treadmills
Two years ago, I bought a very lightweight, cheap treadmill, which I decided to return that because there was significant concern of safety. Now I moved to a new place where I'm planning to build up a gym, and I pay a bit more but definitely worth the pricr. To be honest, this machine is too heavy to transport, and I have to call my friends in to take this to upstairs. Watch out if you live alone and has no friends. This treadmill machine is of high quality, and relatively heavy. It's very soft while running on that. It has automatic incline adjustment at this price. assembly is very easy and this is definetely a good investment on your health. there are heart rate monitor and buttons on the handrail. pretty convenient

Worth the money!
I was looking for something not too expensive but doable. It arrived in a great condition. It has been a few months since I purchased it ,and it works great. Can't complain at all. Highly recommend for this price.
