Disappointed to receive the boxset with damage to one of the dvd placement holders inside the first film as well as damage to most of the corners of the outer slip case.

Blue ray quality, extended edition of the trilogy. If you enjoyed the film you will like this especially with the added scenes.

Been after this set for a while now! Finally managed to get it at a great price too!The movies are awesome (yes 3x 3hour movies for a single book is excessive, but they're awesome!)Took 2 weeks to arrive, all the way from California to the UK, not bad! The box seems to have taken a beating, but a line on the outer sleeve is nothing really (compared to some reviewers) the inner cases are perfect, and the disks unharmed!!Time to binge these and the LOTR extended trilogy now!!

For the movie quality is good, and seeing the extended version of the Hobbit is awesome.Although the third case of the blu-ray pack were crack inside not holding the blu Rays securely, ( I will have to organize to get a new one) Not sure as to why the first and second case is Blu and the third is black but oh well, its just a case, just need to find a case that holds 3 Blu Rays for The Battle of the Five Armies

EE版を安く(高いけど)購入できてよかったです。BDプレイヤー内蔵TV(AQUOS)で問題なく再生できました。ディスク本体は傷もなくきれいな状態でしたが、中蓋の留め具が折れていたりパッケージに少し傷がありましたが、まぁ日本製ではないですしそこは目をつぶります。以下、内容について少し触れます。LORのEE版と比べるとボリュームは少なく、不要といえば不要なシーンもあります。ただ、通常盤では一切出てこなかったトーリンの父が出てきたり、誰が誰だか状態だったドワーフが若干キャラ立ちしていたり、特に最後の決戦シーンは格段に見応えが増していたりとファンであれば一見の価値ありです。
