Router Collet TRC008 8mm Collet (516353)

I have become more expert with my router table that incorporates a Triton Router and therefore now feel qualified to comment on the quality of this genuine OEM collet. Given you are working at speed with very sharp router tools, i would only recommend using the original manufacturers items. This was purchased for a specific heavy duty router task and it has been outstanding. It is fit for purpose in every detail and is balanced correctly for the router. Comes in a great router container and fits perfectly. It has been used for almost 12 months now and is excellent. Don't be tempted to purchase a cheaper non original manufactured part, it may damage your router, a router bit, or worse, you. Highly recommended.

Thought I could use my Elu/DeWalt collets. No. I find it amazing that a router sold in the UK comes with an 8mm but not a 1/4" collet. I have never seen 8mm shanks in my life. I have a collection of 1/2" and 1/4" and ONE 6mm HSS with 1/4" sleeve adapter, should throw it. Rant over, this is well made and works.

Nice quality bit o kit, should help us save money

Needed to fettle the collet bore to get a 6mm carbide cutter to fit - easy enough if you have a needle file but disappointing at this price point.

Il pezzo è conforme alla descrizione. È arrivato nei tempi stabiliti ed era ben imballato. L'oggetto è contenuto in un involucro cilindrico protettivo in plastica con il coperchio svitabile. Per chi ha capito cosa intendo sa che è materiale serio. Inoltre è lubrificato per prevenirne l'ossidazione. Non un graffio, segno o qualsiasi altra cosa. Insomma, perfetto.
