My dogs love this food. It has shredded chicken in broth with pieces of duck on top. This comes in 5.5oz can so I can split the portion in half to my dogs. They don't like mixing the wet food with dry food so I just give this to them separately. They usually would eat this first then eat their dry food later. They even try to lick the bowl clean many times after finishing it. The food has very good texture and it smells good. I like being able to see that the food pieces actually look like real food instead of being all blended together like a pate form. The recommended amount for a small dog is 1 can per day but since my dogs are getting their dry food as well, I'm only giving each of them 1/2 can per day.

I used this canned food in a feeding toy for my dog. I love that the can has a tab to open and doesn't require a can opener. You can see strands of meat in the food, it isn't just mystery goo. When my dog was done with her toy, I noticed some of the strands were stuck in part of the toy and I even had to work at getting them out. Just be careful if using this in a feeding toy. We used this as a special treat and not daily food, but it didn't upset my dogs stomach at all to eat this for a meal. Overall I'm happy with this and would order it again or try another flavor!

Applaws has quickly become my pet’s favorite pet food. Mine too because I can see what my pets are eating. I was able to see shredded chicken and duck. Unlike other brands where you don’t know what you’re feeding, you can see and have trust in applaws. I gave each of my dogs a can and then my cat was trying to eat with the dogs because she thought it was HER food. This canned food smells delicious, looks great, and cost is really good for the quality of product that you’re getting. I would happily spend more to make sure my dogs are getting a high quality food I trust.

My dog is an extremely picky eater who cycles through wet food often. This has been a godsend! Whenever he gets bored of his wet food, I just mix a little bit of this into it and he thinks he has something totally knew! It works with any wet food, any flavor too! I highly recommend this for the picky eater in your life!

Although this is a topper to mix with dry dog food, I give it to my little guy a la carte. He adores it. I can't open the cans fast enough. I will repurchase. I got the chicken and a duck flavor, but it smells a bit fishy. LOL.
