Does not extend power lines, only data
I ordered it to use my external DVD player connected to my back USB ports which supply adequate power for the DVD drives when connected directly. Unfortunately, it did not work. The DVD drive did not get any power to turn on when connected thru this cable. So it was a complete waste for the purpose I bought. Fortunately, I also had a USB laser printer which is placed in the next table and the USB cable for that was not long enough to allow slight movement. I extened the USB cable with this and it worked perfect. Now the printer can be moved easily to allow cleaning, paper change, etc.

Cable is good and working
I bought this cable for my Samsung QLED 65-inch TV because it is hard to put pen drives at the back of the TV and we wall-mounted the TV. So, I bought this product now I can easily plug in the pen drive and the data transfer speed is also good or the same as when I plug directly into the USB port of the TV. I have a small fear that if I accidentally break the USB port while plugging in the Pen drive but now there is no fear.

Does not "Fit properly". causes frequent disconnection
I use this for connecting my laptop to a an extended monitor. Unfortunately it worked for hardly 2 weeks. Problem is with how it fits. It does not fit tightly. So even if you touch new the USB port, it gets disconnected, again you need to wait for sometime before it gets connected. So I wont recommend this
