The Best Teapot!
I love this teapot! Itโs just the right size (3 cups); not too big, not too small. Also itโs not too heavy like the cast iron teapots; yet itโs sturdy. It has a great infuser with lots of tiny holes that gives great flavor without any leaves in your cup. Heat retention is great because the lid fits very well. Itโs easy to pour and clean. The design is simple but beautiful and has a great color. I highly recommend it.

Functional, beautiful, quality.
I love this teapot. My beautiful iron Japanese pot with the raised dimples is nice to look at but dysfunctional in every way. This teapot is such a relief! No more dripping all over the bar, no more iron rust rings on every surface. This teapot has a very nice design and a four cup capacity (perfect for two large mugs of tea). It has a beautiful stainless steel insert. The lid fits snugly down and will not fall off even when inverted. I got lilac and it is so pretty to look at with an artistic roundness to it.

Beautiful and Almost Perfect
I love everything about this beautiful little pot except that it drips a lot when pouring. It really does need to have a dripless spout. It's a perfect shape, not too small and not too big, well balanced in the hand, has a handle that's the right size, the lid stays on snugly, and when preheated it holds the tea at a drinkable temperature for quite awhile. And the porcelain is a pretty white, soft but still bright. The strainer is perfect; not a speck of tea slips through. The brew is the best I've had. That drip, though. The reason it's a 4-star review instead of 5. Would I buy it again? Yes, along with a pretty napkin to hold against the spout for the spillage.

Keeps tea hot!
I drink several cups of tea a few times a day, so when Sweese offered to let me review a new tea pot I was all in. This is a great little tea pot for 1-2 people, and I usually get two large mugs out of it for myself (3 if I use a standard 6-8oz size mug). The strainer inside is the same style they use for the Nordic style mugs and I absolutely love them. I have a few Iโve been using for well over a year and they have yet to rust (a problem Iโve frequently had with tea strainers in the past). The fine mesh catches all but the tiniest particulates from both loose leaf and sachet teas, and I especially find myself using it with Korean style ginger citron teas to strain the peels and ginger chunks out because it doesnโt clog up. It keeps tea at a comfortable 140ish Fahrenheit for around an hour, which is plenty of time for me to finish a few mugs without having to reheat anything. The handle is open enough and itโs light weight enough when full that I donโt have to aggravate my arthritic hands much when pouring or carrying it (folks with RA, you know the struggle). Itโs also very easy to clean, thereโs good access to get all the nooks and crannies with a dish sponge through the top. My one small con with this would be the lid. I never expect a tea pot lid to stay on while Iโm pouring, but this one does have a gasket around the lid base and it fits very snug into the strainer when that is in the pot. Now, I usually take the strainer out and set it aside once brew time is up, but if I do then the lid is a bit loose and it does loose temperature a little faster. Dumping the tea leaves and returning the strainer to the pot has been the best solution to get around that. Overall, I really enjoy this tea pot and will definitely continue using it.

Wonderful, affordable & so pretty!
This was to be a gift, but after a mishap with an other company, I returned to Sweese. I had gotten a larger pot a few years back & we've really liked it. I have quite a few friends & neighbors who drink tea & was planning on gifting this. But after opening it & checking it to make sure it was intact, I had to keep it. I will be buying more to replace the gift that didn't quite happen, but these are truly some of the best teapots I've owned. The lid doesn't always fit snuggly, but for the price? Great value. I like the fact that the lid & pot are ceramic. The tea filter is versatile, & easy to use with the handles. No burned fingers. 27 oz size is perfect for two people. These will make wonderful gifts!

A good teapot, but has significant design flaws
This teapot seems sturdy and well made. Everything arrived without damage and it has a nice asthetic. However, there are three things about it that I don't like: 1: when a full pot of tea is brewed (I usually make about 800 ml of tea for this, which gives me a little space to not overfill the pot), the teapot always leaks when I pour it out. Every time. The amount that leaks down the pot and ends up on the counter is about like what would spill if you poured the tea on the counter for half a second, so not an insignificant amount. To me, this is a serious design flaw and is unacceptable in any tea pot. Once the tea gets down to about half capacity in the pot though, it stops spilling. 2: The infuser doesn't reach down into the pot as low as I would like. Lots of the teas I make expand as they are brewed, and this means that I can't brew anything in this teapot any amount of tea below 600 ml (3/4 capacity). When the pot is filled only 400 ml full (half capacity or one large cup), a little less than 1 inch of the infuser tray is actually submerged in water. Therefore, the tea in the infuser doesn't get the chance to spread out in the water and brew properly. I don't know why the manufacturer decided to not make an infuser that would get reasonably close to the bottom of the pot, but I can't make just one cup's worth of tea in this. Another design flaw. 3: This flaw is not as important as the others, but is mildly annoying. The tea pot lid fits perfectly into the infuser tray (awesome!), but the infuser tray rattles around a little when it is in the teapot (not a perfect fit). And when just the ceramic lid is on the pot without the infuser, it does not fit snugly or nicely on the pot itself. Not that big of a deal, but this is what ends up happening for me: I brew my tea with infuser and lid on for X amount of time, then after the brew is done, go to take the infuser out and put the lid back on the teapot to keep it warm. Then, when I pour the tea in the cup, I have to hold the ceramic lid on with one hand while I pour so that it won't fall off. I would have liked to be able to pour tea with just one hand. It's a minor gripe, and it might be hard to design a lid that fits in both the infuser and on the teapot snugly, but I don't think it would be impossible. If nothing else, I would want it to fit worse in the infuser if it could fit more snugly in the pot--because I never pour tea out while the tea is still brewing. If I did that, then the tea that would be left in the pot would keep brewing and taste super strong later. If these things don't bother you, definitely purchase this pot. But I would probably choose something else in hindsight.

Good Teapot
I've had my teapot for over a year now and I love making tea with it. It's been durable and easy to use. I bought specifically for the small cup size since I usually only brew tea for myself. It's been a great addition to my kitchen.

Damaged product received
It is broken. It is damaged when I received it. I want replacement or refund. The order delivery was delayed and it took 20 days to reach the product and that too damaged. I am so sad.
