Excellent product, great texture and amazing scent
When I was younger, I went to one of my gay friend's house and I was super impressed by his hand wash - and it was Aesop. It kinda smelled like expensive and exquisite TCM clinic somewhere in the NY UES. Anyhow, this brand is not extremely overpriced whatsoever, but they actually make quite a bit of popular products like parsley seed oil or bitter orange toner. But recently I saw this on Amazon and I ordred it. Ingredients: 3rd ingredient is SAP - it's precursor for the vitamin C. I am not sure what the concentration of this, but I guess it's around 1to 4 percent. It also contains niacinamide which comes right after, and citric acid for pH balance, xanthan gum for viscosity and sodium gluconate for pH balance and overall product stability. I think the ion and pH stability is a extremely important factor for the vitamin C product, I think it's extremely well formulated product. Yet, it contains nearly hundreds of essential oils - so probably it's not for everyone but I guess, if you don't have super sensitive skin against them then overall it's pretty clean and decently formulated product. Texture : it's kind of medium texture - not too watery, not too sticky just give the right amount of hydration - so to someone it's amazingly well-rounded texture or for someone it can be too vanilla. It absorbs really really quick, and it's pretty refreshing. It kinda smells like fresh orange and some Asian herbs, and somewhat pencil & wood kind of complex scent and it's actually pretty enjoyable. Effectiveness: it does what it promises. It made my skin looks really radiant and definitely discoloration is less visible. Evaluation: Texture is very well balanced and vitamin C is actually precursor rather than the actual vitamin C - so you can use it without much irritation (or worrying about the oxidation of the vitamin C.) It's slightly on the expensive side compared to other less famous brands but still, I think it definitely worths the price.

Aesob Lucent Facial Concentrate
It's a nice vitamin C serum. I feel it absorbed into my skin well and went under my moisturizer without issue. The scent is nice and light; I wasn't bothered by it and it wasn't overwhelming. My somewhat sensitive skin has not experienced any irritation with the product thus far. My biggest pause with the product would be the price. It is a nice product, but I feel there might be less-expensive options out there.

Luxurious Vitamin C Serum That Truly Elevates Skin
The Aesop Lucent Facial Concentrate is a beautifully crafted serum that feels luxurious from the first use. Its texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving skin hydrated with a smooth, matte finish. The subtle rose scent adds a spa-like touch without being overpowering. After a couple of weeks, my complexion looked brighter and more even, and my skin felt noticeably softer. It pairs perfectly with a moisturizer for lasting hydration. Though it’s expensive, the quality and results make it worth every drop — a five-star addition to any skincare routine.

High quality
This is a really great vitamin C serum and you can feel the quality in everything from the bottle and dropper to the serum itself. It has a light scent that dissipates quickly and it does feel a bit sticky/oily but I find that it is completely fixed by using a moisturizer on top. By doing that I’m able to use SPF and then makeup without any pilling or oxidizing. I can already tell that it is helping with some dark spots and discoloration I have from the sun this summer, and I love that vitamin C is an antioxidant and will continue to effectively prevent new discoloration and sun damage. At a current price of $135 for 2 ounces this is not an inexpensive product but it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized and is a great value for the high quality ingredients.

So moisturizing
I love this Vitamin C serum. It is an amazing value, a little goes a long way, and the bottle is large for skin care. The scent is nice and natural. It has improved the softness and texture of my skin. It has so many good ingredients in it. It has become a must-have in my daily skincare routine.

Not sure if this is everything it’s cracked up to be.

Very nice but overpriced
I’ve been using this serum for almost three weeks now, and it’s pretty nice. I have dry to combination skin that’s not sensitive, and I find that it’s not moisturizing enough on its own, but paired with a moisturizer it’s very nice. Without a moisturizer, it leaves kind of a matte, almost sticky feeling. It says to use a teaspoon amount, and I’m not sure if that’s how much I’m using, but a regular dropping size amount seems to be plenty for me. It has a nice scent to it which is fine for me since I don’t have sensitive skin. I can’t say that it’s really helped much with the appearance of pores like the description suggests, but I do think it’s started to work on fading some of my acne scarring. It’s a decently sized bottle too, but even so I think it’s too expensive for what it is personally.
