Great traditional butter dish. Feels nice to handle

This is a good quality sturdy clear glass butter dish which looks nice on my table and is great value for money. The dish can be used with the butter on the tray and the lid placed over the block of butter or it can be reversed with the butter in the deeper end and the base as a lid. I prefer to put butter in the deep end as I feel it keeps the dish cleaner however, by using it my preferred way the writing on the side of the dish will be upside down (this is okay by me). It's a nice clean looking butter dish which prevents any mess. It measures 17 x 10 x 7cm and holds up to 250g of butter. I ordered this to use when my previously purchased Kilner Butter Dish is in the dishwasher. I would recommend this Kilner Glass Butter Dish

Great quality

Lovely solid glass butter dish. Sometimes I find it hard to pick up the lid due to not enough grip. Would have been nice if it had a little glass handle on top. Overall I am happy, looks lovely on the kitchen side, very good quality.

Perfect. I find putting half a butter slab works really well. Apart from our recent heatwave, I keep it on the back of the worktop in the cool. Initially I thought it was a bit weighty, but once you get used to it it's fine.

We love a butter dish. Many don't have the right dimensions to hold a standard UK pat of butter. But this Kilner is the perfect size. Looks nice in the kitchen, feels expensive. Good value.

Very good quality item. Well designed so the edges of the lid does not get butter. Personally I would have liked a better grip on the lid.

Great quality

Although the overall quality looks good, the lid is sliding when the butter dish is closed - this is not what I would expect from the product. I would expect the lid to sit tightly on top of the bottom part and to not move back and forth because it makes the product unstable and easy to slip.
