I’ve been using the Ninja All Purpose Woodfire Pellets (900 g) for a few cooks now, and I’m really impressed with how well they perform. If you want that authentic wood-fired taste without fuss, this works beautifully. 👍 What I Loved Wonderful flavour infusion — Whether I’m smoking chicken, steak, or veggies, the pellets add a subtly smoky, natural wood flavour without overpowering. Consistent burn — They ignite cleanly and maintain a steady burn time. I didn’t experience flare-ups or uneven burning. Low ash residue — After a cook, there wasn’t a big mess to clean up — minimal ash compared to cheaper pellets I’ve used. Versatility — It handled everything from fish and poultry to red meat with good results. Good value for amount — At 900 g, it’s enough for a few smoking sessions before needing to top up. ⚠ Minor Quirks For long cooks, you’ll need more pellets — this isn’t enough for very extended low-and-slow sessions. The bag is a bit basic — it could use a resealable closure to keep the pellets dry longer. In high-wind or open setups, smoke output is a bit lighter, so you need to keep pellet feed steady. Bottom line: These woodfire pellets are great for home smokers who want convenience and flavour. If you want reliability and a nice balance of smoke, this is a strong choice.

This is advertised as a 900g bag of pellets. If 5g of pellets contains 13 pellets (I counted them - was bored); then that means that a 900g bag should contain at least 2340 pellets. But guess what? The bag I received actually contained 2471 (I said I was bored. I counted them). Given that you get 130 pellets per Ninja scoop (I keep saying - I was bored, I counted them), that means my bag contained at least one free scoop! Result! But aside from that, if you have a Ninja Woodfire appliance, then these (in my opinion) are the best pellets. The smoke has a lovely aroma and imparts a wonderful, but subtle, smokey flavour. Fantastic whether ovening a pizza, or some smokey sausages. Highly recommend.

Essential pellets for the wood fire range. The larger bag is pretty good value for money, but watch fluctuating prices. They burn quickly, and last for the duration needed. Haven't found a flavour we don't like yet - good robust smoke

Very nice and give a good smoky flavour without being overpowering. Don’t always burn properly, but that maybe the cook, not timing things properly! If added properly, burn well, not always to complete ash.

I love these wood pellets. I’m sure there are many out there that I could use, even though Ninja doesn’t want you to use 3rd party pellets. I feel like these are fairly priced and the flavor is rich and respectable. The pellets do offer a high smoke output and it does flavor the meat efficiently. I think the performance of these pellets do compete with other high ranking brands, as I know that Ninja outsource this to Bear Mountain, so I’m not surprised at the performance of effectiveness of these pellets.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I’ve found the all-purpose blend Ninja Woodfire pellets offer a balanced, mild, and sweet smoky flavour. They have a mix of cherry, maple, and oak wood pellets. They’ve been great for meat and vegetables and the large 900g is suitable for many cooking sessions, without needing to put more than the recommended amount for flavour. I highly recommend them and find they make the food delicious without overpowering. I’ve also tried the robust blend multiple times, but find that this is too strong by comparison.

I use my Ninja smoker oven a lot, and although we prefer the robust blend for most applications, the robust one can make everything taste like southern barbecue sauce. The standard version is useful when you want a more sophisticated smoke flavour, so we like to keep both on standby depending on what we're cooking.

DO NOT USE! We used pellets for first time and ruined a rack of baby back ribs. We each took one bite & had to spit it out. What a huge disappointment! It tasted like it was cooked over rolls of burning newspaper. DO NOT USE!
