More than three million readers have witnessed the return of the dragons...And now the books that began the best-selling 'dragonlance' saga are collected in their entirety in this special edition, along with all of the artwork from the trilogy. This splendid collector's edition is a must for the millions of readers who fell in love with the fantasy world of Krynn. Review: Great fun! You might as well just get " Dragonlance Legends" along with this trilogy. - I had devoured Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, J.R.R. Tolkien everything from Shakespear to Mad Magazine. But my favorite genre was " Sword & Sorcery". When my little brother said I should read this I laughed in his face. I told him I don't like the game or my characters bound by " Rules" I like my Wizards to swing a sword, if necessary, a Monk to use an edged weapon. But he insisted I give this trilogy a read. It's been so long ago, but I think I told him I'll give your little Dungeons & Dragons trilogy a read if you read William Shakespeare " The Tempest", " Mac Beth" & " Hamlet" there's some old school Sword & Sorcery for you. Man was I surprised, the pacing was great, the authors thoroughly endeared the characters to the reader, and it was so well written and exciting I pretty much forgot about the D&D " Rules." By the time I finished book #1 " Dragons of Autumn Twilight " I was completely hooked. He had all three books compiled together in a textbook sized paperback and I burned through the " Dragonlance Chronicles" trilogy. And was very happy he had the second trilogy " Dragonlance Legends." The authors did such a great job endearing the characters to the readers and the action was so well paced I had zero problem that these characters functioned under D&D " Rules." If your favorite genre is " Sword & Sorcery" I would go so far as to call this trilogy and its follow up trilogy " Dragonlance Legends" as must haves for your Sword & Sorcery library. I quickly forgot these books ties to D&D and immersed myself into a universe with Wizards, Warriors, Elves, Dwarves, Paladin Knights, Kinder's (basically adventurous mischievous Hobbits) and of course talking Dragons. This trilogy was a very pleasant surprise. And so good I've decided to add these recently republished Hardcovers to my huge library. Yes, I order both " Dragonlance Chronicles" and " Dragonlance Legends" in these recently published Hardcover versions. I guess the fact that these two trilogy sets are still being published some 40 years after I first read them is a testament to their quality. These six books were so popular they spawned many other novels, but " Dragonlance Chronicles" is the trilogy that started the Dragonlance literature phenomenon with 3.4 million copies sold when I read this trilogy compiled into a textbook sized collector's edition. And trust me you need not be a fan of the game to enjoy these books...I certainly wasn't. I was surprised these Hardcovers are so reasonably priced and I strongly recommend you purchase both Hardcover trilogy compilations. both " Dragonlance Chronicles" & " Dragonlance Legends." Especially if you're a fan of Sword & Sorcery. Actually, an animated movie was made about " Dragonlance Chronicles" & I wish they would have kept going with it. Review: Author - Great story line. 5โStar Review: Dragonlance Chronicles
Dragonlance Chronicles is one of those rare fantasy trilogies that feels like the beginning of something truly legendary. It takes classic highโfantasy elements, companions on a quest, ancient magic, dragons, lost gods, and infuses them with a level of warmth, humor, and emotional depth thatโs still impressive decades later. What stands out most is the party dynamic. The companions feel like real people with genuine histories, and watching them clash, bicker, grow, and rely on each other is half the magic of the series. Vivid lore, believable cultures, and a sense of mythic weight bring the world of Krynn to life, making the stakes feel genuinely enormous. The pacing is brisk, the action memorable, and the story strikes that perfect balance between adventure and heart. Even readers new to the fantasy genre can jump in easily, while longtime fans will catch layers of clever world-building and foreshadowing. Itโs easy to see why Chronicles became a cornerstone of modern fantasy. Itโs heroic, characterโdriven, and completely immersive, a quintessential epic that deserves every one of its five stars.

Excellent read
This is an older series, but I loved it when I read it years ago. I like that it is 3 books in one. Sometimes itโs nice to have a hard copy to take to the pool instead of an iPad.

Love this series!
Exactly as good as I remember! I loved the DragonLance Chronicles as a teenager and was so excited to see this special edition. I ordered it for myself for my 45th birthday. After showing it off in the family chat, two of my siblings ordered one too!

One of the best fantasy trilogies ever.
The best known trilogy of two of the best fantasy authors that are still writing books. This is where it all started for Dragonlance. These are some of the few books I have actually bothered to read more than once. The follow up content (Legends) is equally superb. A truly great series if ever there was one.

Why is hard cover less the paperback?
This is a grate story. I read the paperback version not the hard cover. I do wanted the paperback version but it cost was to much. This is why I did not give this review 5 stars. When a paperback book cost more then a hard cover book there is something wrong with sells the paperback should cost less the the hard cover.

Finally after 25 years!
Iโve been looking for this original seasons trilogy in hardcover for about 25 years, so glad it got a reprint! My original paperback books are beat up and falling apart (original prints), and this is a nice collectors piece to replace them with.

A joyful read.
I read the original paperbacks many many years ago when first published. To have this series in one beautiful book is just fantastic. An exciting Dungeons and Dragons saga set in the world of Krynn where you follow a parties exploits whilst immersing yourself in the world of D&D.

Not Impressed by sellers definition of NEW.
I was expecting a NEW book. Arrived damaged. Crushed on side and ripped backing. Altho, the content of the book is fantastic. Quality of this book is lacking.
