The probable answer is yes, but it will depend on which model of Acer Aspire it is. Look on the bottom of your laptop and make a note of the Model number & then do a Google Search "will the toshiba mqo1abdo5o 500 gb drive fit my acer aspire ....."the dots are for the model number.

It will work in the Toshiba (didn't it come with a 640GB drive anyhow?).  However, if you replace your existing hard disk you'll need to reinstall all the software, including Windows.  Make sure you've got the licence number and install disks for everything.It may be worth purchasing a 2.5" USB SATA drive caddy (around £5 on fleabay) to put your old disk in if it's still working.  That way you can transfer files across to the new one, and have a cheap backup drive as well.

Can I put this hdd into a 2013 macbook pro? Tried another brand some time ago and after the wifi reboot/restore it did not recognize the hdd

The short answer is yes, however after I installed this HD into my daughters late 2012 13" Macbook Pro my son then re-formatted the HD so it had the Mac format before downloading and installing the necessary updates to get the required version of the Mac OSX up and running. My daughters laptop is working and from what she has said it's better than when it was new as it has a 1Tb HD and 16GB of RAM now. My son said it wasn't hard to format the HD and install the OS but he spent 3 years at college and he is now studying computer programming. So if you don't know or unsure about how to reformat the HD and upload the OSX I believe there are some guides on Youtube which will help.

I have a bush 320dtr can i fit the 500gb or must i use the 320gb ?

As long as the dimensions/size are the same as your previous hard drive then you shouldn't have an issue installing and running a 500GB hard drive.
