approx 3mm.... what is actual size?

The actual size is 3mm inside diameter and 4mm outside diameter. I think the reason they say "approximately 3mm", is because there will always be a (very) slight difference in the measurements on paper and in reality. Other than that, measurements are very accurate and the product so far has nice quality.

True 4mm exterior circumference-just like I needed. Strong stainless steel with excellent integrity for its size. I needed this to repair a plastic rollover valve stem that broke off my fuel tank. Great price and solid product! YOU GET TWO RODS TOO! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Just what I needed

I needed to use these tubes to create a sleeve for stainless steel wire to slide through to pull on a latch to open a gate. These were perfect for that application. I bent it with a small-diameter tubing bender and they bent just fine without collapsing or narrowing their diameter.
