Grill Tongs, 17 Inch Extra Long Stainless Steel BBQ Tongs (17", 2PCS)

I originally bought these to replace the tongs that came with a barbecue tool set. There was nothing technically wrong with the old ones, but they were just a bit too short, which meant I was forever getting my hands far closer to the heat than I wanted and even get burns on some occasions. These solved that problem immediately and another that I hadn't even thought of. As they are longer when they open the ends open up that little bit more wider than the shorter pair would, and this makes it much easier to get the scourer right into the ends and makes them so much more easier to clean, and a great little added bonus. At 17 inches long, these are perfectly suited for the job as they give you plenty of distance from the grill without feeling awkward or difficult to control. In fact, I found them easier to use than my previous pair because the gripping end is slightly larger and does a better job of holding food securely when turning burgers, sausages or larger cuts of meat. The build quality is also noticeably better. The stainless steel feels thicker and more substantial, with none of the flex that cheaper tongs often suffer from. They have a premium feel in the hand and look like they will last for years of regular use. Another thing I appreciated was the locking mechanism. On my old pair it was always a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it would lock, sometimes it wouldn't, and you had to force it into position. These are much smoother and the lock works properly every time, making them easier to store away when not in use. £10.99 might seem a little expensive when you're only buying a single pair of tongs rather than a full barbecue set, but the quality difference is obvious as soon as you use them. Better reach, better grip, smoother operation and far better construction make them excellent value in my opinion.

Perfect length, weight and material. I like the grab as well and do the job perfectly for me. They look nice too. A bargain for two! Locking mechanism is so easy and convenient to use, the grip is as it should and i think they're nicely design to last long time.

Yes great tongs- longer than a usual pair so hands are further away from the bbq heat. Easy to grab food with- tension perfect, not to stiff and not to loose. A sturdy item and very easy to clean. They look good too and are made of tough metal. Well worth the price.

Absolutely love these tongs. At 17 inches they’re really long but still surprisingly light and comfortable to use. They feel great quality and the extra length means I can grill without getting anywhere near the heat. They’re even long enough to reach right to the back of my Ooni pizza oven to rescue the occasional runaway olive before it turns into a tiny fireball 😂 Really practical, easy to use and exactly what I wanted. Super happy with them.

Best item for air-fryers it stops getting your fingers burnt Very easy to use Will never wear out Really good price

I have regularly used the smaller of these tongs for about 4 years and they have been wonderful, but they (The smaller ones) have now fallen apart. However - I happen to be very very clever and I have repaired them (See photos). What broke was the rivet holding the thing all together, so I have replaced this rivet with a brass screw and washer. Sounds simple, but to do this you need to compress the spring or you would never get it installed. What I used was a short piece of 1cm tubing into which I pressed the screw. A bit fiddly but it worked. The tongs will now last for ever! If anyone should try this it would be a great help if you didn't completely dismantle it, try to leave the old rivet in place which is actually keeping the spring compressed and then you can guide the new screw into place.

These are so worth the money, durable, easy to use and clean.

I absolutely love these Tongs! They are the perfect tool for BBQs. The length is fantastic, providing ample protection from heat, which is especially useful when grilling over open flames. The non-slip grip is a game changer—it gives me full control and confidence when handling hot food. The stainless steel is durable and resistant to rust, and they’re incredibly easy to clean—just toss them in the dishwasher! The pull-ring locking mechanism is a clever feature that makes storage simple, and I really appreciate the high heat resistance of the tips. I’ve used them at high temperatures without any concerns about melting or warping. Overall, these are now an essential tool in my kitchen and for BBQs. Highly recommend!

Super, jak w opisie

Fantastiskt bra.

These are actually quite good value for the price. I actually didn't buy them for a bbq or any food related reason... I actually bought them to get clothes out of my new top loader washing machine because once the machine stops the cycle you can't spin where the clothes are to get clothes that have landed at the back. They do the job for that so I am happy with them.

Muy bueno recomendado ampliamente
