Value for money and works well
Work perfectly well. It holds the door open well and stops it swinging in the wind. Great value for money and save the door becoming damaged.

Instructions are very clear and easy to understand
Restrictors arrived OK but no instructions for fitting. Submitted form on Truly PVC website to request instructions but no response. Attempted to fit without benefit of instructions and made screw hole in wrong place. Phoned them and they emailed copy of instructions. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately, having followed the instructions, the door slide channel protruded by about 90mm from door edge. Could not screw to door because of that and, if I had, I would not have been able to close door. To overcome the problem, I pushed the Holding Spring Stop Cap 90mm into the channel, drilled through the channel at this location and then screwed into the Eurogroove. The other end was now not protruding and could be screwed into Eurogroove as per instructions. If your door is more than 600mm in width it shouldn't be a problem to fit as per instructions.

Effective door restrictor and stay - Instructions in my photos
I have Anglian patio doors which can open past 90 degrees so I purchased 1 of the '1 x 500mm Passivated Steel Restrictor Door Stay with Adjustable Friction pad - Holds Open at 135°' - to see if it fitted. I ordered the second one once I had fitted the first successfully. The first one didn't come with instructions so I winged it as it was only a matter of ensuring there is enough travel to open and close the door. When the second one came it had instructions with it and a handy piece of information I could have done with for the first one was to lock the stay in place before fitting as this give you the end of the range at one end.The stay pops into the Euro groove which all modern doors have I believe, my photos will show you how it sits. The stay itself is sturdy and providing you fit it correctly, at the fully open position a pin in the stay pops into a retaining clip, a tug on the door pops it out and the door will close. There is a tension screw (see the photos) which is the restrictor and stops the door from swinging, you can adjust this to how stiff you want the doors. Since fitting, we've had a few windy days and only the stiffest of gusts have blown the door out of the retainer, the door then didn't slam as it would have before fitting the stay as the restrictor made sure there was enough resistance.Rather than use the screws provided I used these, excellent self tappers - 'uPVC Self Tapping Screws - 3.9mm X 32mm - 25 Pack' Some have said that the supplied screws are too long but as you'll see in my photo there isn't a lot of difference between the two (gold colour is the supplied screws).I should have bought these years ago, they are easy to fit and are doing the job of restricting the door opening and preventing door slamming.

Does not fit an Aluminium Door
This may be OK for UPVC door but avoid if you have an aluminium doorI have Cortizo Aluminium residential door and it's does not fit.The company selling needs to make this clear as they are obviously only suitable for UPVC wit Euro tracks and as far as I know no Aluminium door has this.

Good hinge
Easy to fit, replaced existing hinges that had no locking mechanism and no variable close resistance. Bought 3 of them in the end and replaced conservatory patio doors. No more slamming of doors in the wind. Very pleased

Not impressed
No fitting instruction or screws included. For the price charged would have expected the package to include everything needed to fit.Wasn’t that easy to fit, and can only open the doors up to 90%, not 135% that I wanted. Wouldn’t recommend, and would have sent them back had my husband not persevered and managed to finally fit them.

Good but not in gusts ...
I live in an exposed area and used these restrictors on two french doors (manufactured by Liniar). The double holes didnt line up as hoped but not a problem, screwing into PVC wasnt difficult but I did need to find a very short stubby screwdriver.Be aware though that these restrictors will not withstand particularly high gusts, a gentle breeze is okay, slightly stronger is okay but that's about as far as it goes.I do like the fact that having found why the original restrictors only allowed 90 degrees opening, these can allow up to 135 degrees or, if positioned correctly, anything up to 135 degrees before the doors hit an obstruction.Quality was as good as the original restrictors and fitted the eurogroove perfectly.
