A couple of things: This is my 2nd SHW brand, the first being a 40-inch. The 40-inch top was all one piece--this one in 2 pices (a 48 in seam) with dowels. For my purpose this works. For some it would not. The photo for their purchase does not show the seam. 1. They include extra scres, dowel, just in case. GREAT! 2. You do need a screw driver for the O screws. 3. Good directions although the last couple not quite as clear. 4. I wish it lowered another inch or two. 5. I wish they had a corner desk that adjusts. FINAL NOTE: Go to the SHW store. Lots of choices shown and almost always discounts!

I love my desk and its different level it has. I can go from sitting to standing it’s the best thing ever. It’s easy to use and very quiet. Great quality and comfortable.

I was very impressed with how easy this desk was to assemble. It took me less than 20 minutes to put together, and the instructions were clear. The desk is also sturdy with only a minor wobble if you forcefully shake it at full height. I love that it has a quiet motor which is great for working at home when others may be sleeping. The only downside to this desk is that it doesn't quite lower enough for me. I'm 5'11", and I would like to be able to lower the desk to a height of 24 inches, but it only goes down to 25 inches. This is still a good height for me to stand at, but it would be ideal if it could go a little lower. Overall, I'm very happy with this desk. It's a great value for the price, and it's helped me to be more productive and healthier at work. I would definitely recommend it to others that are working from home. Pros: - Easy to assemble (less than 20 minutes) - Sturdy and well-made - Quiet motor - Affordable price Cons: - Doesn't lower quite enough (25 inches is the lowest setting) Overall: I would definitely recommend this desk to others. I’ve had my desk for over a year now and I love it! Easy to put together and has survived several moves and still looks great. Works perfectly with my walking pad, perfect size to spread out my stuff and get thins done.

This desk is a lot better than I expected. I work online most days for many hours and was tired of sitting but didn't think I could get used to a standing desk. This standing desk is motorized so you can find your perfect ergonomic fit for standing or sitting. I am short and was wondering if the desk would be too tall but it is very accommodating for short or tall people. We had fun seeing just how high it could actually go. It has easily accessible controls to the right of the desk and a place to hold all the cords for the computer and desk in the back basket. It is the perfect width for a computer, some books, a cup of coffee and a water bottle, a lamp and pencil holder will room left over. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Great design. Fairly sturdy, though has a tiny bit of vibration or movement when you type. If you type all day you may want one that does not move at all. If you are on video calls or doing light typing, this will work well. Perfect for over a walking pad to watch videos or do work. Great value and easy to assemble. Love it.

I bought (2) of these desks for my sons for Christmas; they both wanted larger desks (they had cheapo small ones that only held a keyboard and mouse) and they had added some larger cheap desks on their wish lists. I looked at a few similar 'gaming' desks to the ones that they had asked for (the cheapest gaming desks that fit the size they wanted), but the more my wife and I thought about it, we wanted something that would grow with them as they go through teenage years. I use an adjustable stand-up desk for work, which I love, so I started to look for something similar. Cruising the depths of Amazon, these SHW height adjustable desks come up and there were many good reviews. We liked that they were metal and also that you can adjust the height to exactly the best ergonomic position for each son. So, we ordered two of these a few weeks before Xmas and on the 25th, they each received one, to their delight. I refilled the coffee and Baileys and got to work when the gifts were all unwrapped. The desk assembles easily - the instructions are very easy to follow and the quality of metal and hardware is sturdy and well packaged. I used my own tools to assemble these two quicker, but there were tools in the hardware. There was just one glitch - the two desks that we receioved here in Canada came with electrical plugs that were shaped for Australia/China. Bummer. I used an adapter to set the heights for each boy and later that day, I sent a message to the seller through Amazon. To my surprise, the seller replied on Christmas day, wanted some pics - no problem, and within a few messages they promptly shipped out the two proper plugs. Mistakes happen, I get it, but how a company deals with them is what sets some apart from others. SHW - they have great customer service. My sons love these desks. Sometimes I walk past and click one of the preset height buttons just to mess with them - it's a Dad thing - but the kids like that feature and I have seen one son standing with the desk lifted and working on his homework that way. Overall - good quality, good value, and great customer service. I would defintiely recommend these desks and this seller.

Great desk that fit my needs for not being too wide. Sturdy frame that was pretty easy to put together, and works well in all positions. The tabletop is on the slightly thinner side compared to some other desks I have worked on, but perfect for home

OVERALL RATING: ★★★★★ I have been using this desk for about 3 months now and it is a game changer in your day-to-day workstation/personnel routine. You can program 4-height levels on this thing. Electronics seem to be reliable, pretty silent motor and an all-around good quality product. Quite easy to assemble, did everything in about an hour with all the cable management.. and since it comes with a rack underneath, even better! Would buy one again in a heartbeat if I had to.. but I think this one will last a while! PROS: ✓ Well-made. ✓ Easy to assemble.. like really easy! ✓ Silent motor, good electronics all around. ✓ Made to last. ✓ 4 programmable heights. ✓ Stable! ✓ WORTH-EVERY-PENNY. CONS: ✕ The glossy finish might get dirty sometimes, but nothing a little microfiber can't wash.

I work from home full time in an HR position, and struggle with back problems when I sit for so long. I finally bit the bullet and decided to try a sit/stand desk. This desk has been great! I needed something fairly small for my tiny space, but still sturdy enough to hold my two large work monitors on mounts, and all my work supplies. This desk is fairly light for what it is, I built it myself with no problems at all, and can move it easily when needed. The lift mechanism works smoothly. I move it up and down 3-4 times a day, 5-6 days a week, and after a few months I haven't had a single issue with it. It makes a little whirring noise when moving, but it's but loud or annoying. Even if I'm in a meeting or on a call other people can't hear it over my microphone. Overall I would recommend this desk as a simple, affordable standing desk, and I would buy it again :)
