Wi it fit 96 vortec 350 pan?

Thank you for your inquiry. Fel Pro does NOT show the 34508R Oil Pan Gasket fitting a 1996 Chevy Vortec Engine.

Does this fit on a chevy SBC 262 or 305?

The 34508R is for a SBF. The 305 is 34500R and I don't believe works with the 4.3 which is 34502R. Might want to double check.

When and what was the update to this design. I have bought and installed 3 of these and am beyond upset that they leak.

Not sure what year and transmission you have but I've owned my 5.0L for over 20 years and she's always leaked a little bit.

Real deal, work great!

Great product, recommended

Everything you need to get a good seal on your oil pan (minus a bit of RTV for the corners). Easy to install, feels and looks good quality. Haven’t had any issues.

Put this on with engine still in car!

Just what the doctor ordered. I did a cylinder head swap on my 1990 Mustang GT and with that a timing chain, water pump, etc. Decided not to play around with the "piece together" lower timing cover to oil pan gaskets and go with this one piece. I did the job with the engine in the car - which was difficult but doable, especially with the help of the little pins they sent in the box. Definitely recommend over the original, or multiple piece gasket. It's a perfect fit.
