Is this case made of actual leather?

Description says: “synthetic leather”

I guess I would say it probably is "water resistant", like drops of rain, but "waterproof" implies a seal that totally shuts out the possibility of water getting inside...No, it is not waterproof....and I wouldn't let it sit in water or get too much water in any way....it is a very nice way to protect knives, but not waterproof.
