Nice lens for the price
With lenses, you have a wide range of prices and performance, so I am reviewing this lens based on that criteria. Some have called this a kit lens and I don't disagree with that assessment. I mainly wanted the lens for the wide 16mm angle that also has the lower f/stop. I have used it for video and photos and I am happy with the performance. This filled a gap in my camera bag since my main lens is the Tamron 28-75. Having that extra width is nice for video since I film from a small guest room in the house. It is also a nice lens for walking around a city because it is so light, small and flat (unlike my Tamron). So yes, this lens is a very nice combination of price and performance.

Great Kit
This is an awesome lens kit for the Sony E-Mount Lens system. The 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 is a great option for travel and vlogging due to its compact size and portability. I think that the accessories complement the bundle well because you get a 32GB SDXC card, allowing you to shoot more photos/videos. Then, you get a great cleaning kit. It cleans your lens and maintains it free from artifacts that may interfere with the image quality.
