Will this fit the lotus grill xl as well?

Should do. It isn't quite as large as the grill space on the normal size so comes with a ring that rests on top of the grill to stop it sliding around. Presumably it would work in the same way for the XL

Will this fit into the small grill

My Teppanyaki plate has diameter of 29 cm, but I can't answer your question as I have the normal size Lotus Grill. It is very good though, can definitely recommend it

What size of lotus grill does this plate fit please I have the medium size lotusgrill

If "medium" size means one size up from the smallest size, then yes, it will fit

What is the grill made out of? Is it iron or aluminium? Thanks

I would say iron. Definitely not aluminium. Too heavy. Very good to use and clean.
