Auro (Amitabh Bachchan) is an intelligent and witty 13-year-old boy with an extremely rare genetic defect that causes accelerated aging. He suffers from a progeria-like syndrome. Mentally he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks five times older. In spite of his condition, Auro is a very happy boy. He lives with his mother Vidya (Vidya Balan) who is a gynecologist. Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is young, progressive and a full-of-ideals politician. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad word. He is a man with a mission. Auro is Amol's son. I loved this movie very much. I have watched it seven times in two weeks and cannot get enough of it. The cast was fantastic and I still find myself crying at the end. This is a must watch everyone. My 12 year old loved it as did her friends. It is just an all around great film.

very simple n diff movie
its very simple n diff. movie. i always want to purchase it, since amitab act as diseased child. but, the price is comfortable in this website. cameraman is shriram, musician is ilayaraja n kind of diff makes it one time watch movie. the movie can be taken in better too.

One of the most memorable movies I've ever seen. It's one of those universal timless stories that warms your heart and brings positive message and joy.
