I'm writing this review from the couch, mainly because I dont spend time anywhere else in the house. Let's break this down into a few components. 1) The Leather. Buttery smooth, lovely against the skin and with no off odors upon unpacking. It feels thick, like it will hold up for a very long time. We purchased the brown color and the dye is even throughout and just beautiful. 2) The Cushions. We bought this couch without the ability to try it out in person, like many of you. We had no idea what to expect except that it "looks comfy." Dear friends, this couch is heavenly. The two end seats cup you in a cloud. And the center seat is extremely comfortable on the bottom but only slightly stiffer on the back in comparison to the side seats. 3) The Recliner. Coupled with the leather and the cushions, the recline feature is perfect for watching a movie or catching a cat nap. I will caution those that have asked: it does not recline flat. Rather, it reclines with a slight bend in the knee for comfort and back to about 35 degrees. It's far enough back that you can fall asleep but not so far that you would want to sleep there all night. To me, its perfect for being comfortable while still allowing me to watch TV. While I am on the subject of the recliner... 4) The Headrest. The adjustable headrest is very cool for tall people who sometimes have a hard time finding couches to support their necks. As a short girl my head doesnt hit at the optimal height for this, so adjusting the head rest without scooting my butt far up the seat just cranes my neck to a weird angle. However, my husband who is 6'2 loves it. It does work well if I'm fully reclined. 5) The Lights. O.m.g. the lights are the coolest night light in a dark room! It is a gentle glow and not harsh at all. I do wish I had different light options but that is not a complaint, the blue is still perfect. 6) The Tech. I was expecting an outlet and a USB plug in, but the wireless charging pad?! That was such a cool and unexpected treat! The reading lights on the headrest are also great and are adjustable, which I appreciate as an avid reader who also tries to be considerate if my hubby wants the room dark for movie watching. 7) The Transformer Table. I didnt know what to call it but it is just awesome. It is sturdy enough to hold a drink or a plate to share with your neighbor. I also use it to lay out my makeup in the morning (I told you it's the only place I spend time in my house!). The wood look is also a beautiful touch. I appreciate that you can flip it up for a full couch. And by the way... 8) The Full Couch. Unlike many couches of this style, this one is extremely comfy to lay across. You do not feel like you are laying across 3 different chairs. It feels like a normal couch. And lastly... 9) The Extras. I love the 2 trays this comes with! They are easy to pop in and out, and big enough to hold a dinner plate and a drink. They also have different attachments you can purchase online (wine holder, holla!) which also just pop in. So there it is, folks. You have 9 reasons to buy this couch!

This is a beautiful theater couch, seats three.it a bright red, that accents my red wall. Comes with cup holder with light and lights on bottom recliner. Also comes with additional tray that is enclosed by arm cushion that slides in a hidden hole for tray next to arm rest. The center recliner comes down allow access to 2 more beverage holder and large tray. It also has wireless charging station and USB charge plus one for phones. It has 2 overhead lights hidden in the head rest when open. Has a lumber spine support and very roomy, yet film enough. I'm short so it's a perfect fit without backing in yet plenty of leg room. The controls on side arm allows you back,forth, as well as the head movement. Has the latest technology built in with an elegant look.I needed help with the delivery and set up, that the company call me and offered a white glove delivery, for an additional $200. I spoke to a Richard, which was a pleasure to assure me all will be okay. I'm greatfull to have locate it. The price was very reasonable and also took out the extended warranty for 2 years.

This is an impressive service-oriented company that does everything within its power to ensure you are more than just satisfied with your purchase! I received one-on-one attention from Richard from the moment the item left the store and up to and beyond receipt of the furniture. We love everything about our new theater seats! The chairs are very comfortable, especially with the moving headrest. And what a solid piece of furniture weighing in at 355 lbs.? You will definitely need two strong people to move it into your home. But once we got it in, it was very easy to assemble. The three chairs have excellent storage space in the armrests. And for all the ways you can move the foot and headrest, it's quite quiet when operating. We are more than just pleased with our purchase! If I had to name one con, though, against all those pros, it would be that we didn't look at the Seatcraft site before buying. The only reason I say that is because my husband has a bad back and would have gotten the set with lumbar support. But that's our bad, not the company's. I can not recommend this company enough! The chairs are beautiful and comfortable, the customer service is outstanding, and we definitely got our money's worth on this purchase. If you're considering buying new furniture, Seatcraft is the way to go. You will not be disappointed!

Very nice and comfortable

First, the bad: The installation will require multiple people unless you're very strong. The chairs are heavy, but the sturdiness feels like it will last. The motorized mechanisms have had no problem under heavy and consistent use for 6 years, though the cushions have worn a little thin. Luckily, they're accessible from underneath, so bolstering with new fill or replacement is not too difficult. The leather is a little squeaky, but a bit of baby powder makes the operation silent. The wireless charging pad is not very usable with modern phones... the cushioning prevents the larger form-factors from aligning, but there's plenty of USB ports to use for charging. The good: These seats are why my guests keep coming back to my media room. The adjustability and comfort are very good, and they're a beautiful seat. The hinge on my middle section and one of the gas-shocks for the arm lift broke within the first 6 months. I never bothered doing anything about it, but this past weekend, it really bugged me. I finally contacted customer service through Amazon. Richard got back to me promptly the next morning and asked me to call. When I called him, he knew who I was and sent me the minor repair parts at no charge... this is 7 years after purchase. I've worked in customer service for almost 30 years, and you don't get service like that just anywhere. The company stands behind their product, the service agent resolved my issue with zero hassle, and they're still my favorite seats in the house. I'd recommend buying from Seatcraft without hesitation!

There is NOTHING that I don’t like about these sofa theater seats. My husband and I bought one, three seater, and two, two seaters for a total of seven seats. I am loving these theater seats, we are in them a lot- I love the color, we bought black which fits perfectly in our loft with a 75” TV screen. I love the buttons to lay them all the way back, and the lighting underneath them, the reading lights on the center part to read or whatever you need it for, it has an iphone charger, and an outlet to plug up anything else, the cup holders and a small space to put smaller things, (all this is inside the center seat when you lower the headrest……too cool! There are also nice trays that comes with it stored in each of the hand rests- and they swivel so you can put your bowl of popcorn, plate of food, do some check balancing, etc on it. Oh, did I mention that they are very comfortable to boot and looks easy to clean if you spill something which no one has done; we plan to keep these theater seats in good condition- they deserve it for being so good looking and awesome!!

Don't you just love it when something you purchased comes and is even better than you could hope?! One warning however. This piece of furniture must weigh close to 500 lbs. I could barely stand it up on end to get it on a heavy duty hand truck. But that is just a testament to how well built this couch is and how long it should last! It is super simple to assemble, it has two plugs for the lights, and one plug for the center console power. I am 6'3" and 240 lbs and find it super comfortable. When extended, the leg and foot support is about 3" too short for my legs but I put a little foot rest off the end and it works perfectly for me. It is super comfortable and all of the electric settings give you plenty of range to get situated just like you want. Maybe the cup holders should be placed a little different because my arms tend to rest on them but hey, I LOVE THIS COUCH!! (check out the lighting. Too cool!) I can't stop talking about this couch. The seat back doesn't go back as much as the seat goes down and forward on the bottom so the couch fits almost right up against the wall when fully up. If I return the couch as it is in the picture back to the full up position, it is only 3" from the wall.

This is an AMAZING couch! I mean wow! The leather is soft and supple, extremely comfortable to sit in with a great deep recline. You can tell it's quality by just looking at it. I am a bigger guy and I fit perfectly. The accent lighting on the cupholders and below are just fantastic. The controls are intuitive to use and btw, it has a TON of storage space for remotes and wireless keyboards. I seriously could not be happier, can't wait until tonight so that I can get a movie to watch on Netflix and sip my scotch while I lounge in pure bliss. While it did not come with instructions it is extremely straight forward to put together, though a pdf or something would have been great. Not worth knocking off a star for it though. Another thing to note is that if you don't have a lot of space this might not be for you. In order for the recliners to go all the way back you will need about 16 inches of distance from the wall. That said, the recliners, go waaaaaay back. I can sincerely say that this was worth the cost. That said it is early in the game, as in only about 2 hours lol, but I will follow up with an update.
