With this AT&T prepaid phone how do you put minutes on it?

Yes it is a prepaid phone. You can set up your minutes to come right out of your bank account or you can purchase a card at like Walmart or something like that

How do you get a SIM card?

The sim card is inserted on the side of the phone after you received your phone. They include this key shape small metal thing and it comes inside the box. It's located in a small plastic clear bag. Once you open it up and take it out the bag. On the left side of the phone you stick the key 🗝️ metal thing and kinda twist it and the little tray opens and it shows your sim card. I hope this helps you with your question. I just received my phone a few days ago. I had to figure that out on my own by reading the quick guide.
