Impossible to read
Some idiot and his boss decided that the markings on tape measure that have been used for several decades must be too confusing so they decided to mark every 1/8th inch on the entire tape. On top of being stupid, they then made all of the lines the same length. Am I supposed to count 27 tick marks to get an accurate measurement. Why would anybody think this was a good idea. Every time I get stuck using this thing, I end up swearing for the next 5 minutes because I wasted my money. Oh, let's not go into the fact that it can barely extend 5' before snapping.
