Sensitive Skin and Stomach Dog Food Dry, Adult Salmon & Rice Formula, Digestive Health - 40 lb. Bag

Huskies are definitely dogs with attitude and mine is 8 years old and always had a sensitive stomach. She eats this faster than her old kibble which would be left out all night and there would still be some in the morning. This one it's usually gone by midnight. It seems to be helping her coat and joints. She's also having less trouble with diarrhea and she grazes on it as she sees fit. She seems to like the taste and the 40lb is usually a good value. This stuff apparently smells good to her because she gets excited but I don't like smell of it... But it's not too bad for dog food. This bag size is good because she's a smaller husky about medium sized dog so this lasts her 2-3 months. So I would say between this and her supplement for her joints she's doing very well for her age. This dog food has definitely helped her over all health.

We feed this kibble with our dog's fresh food. Our Dutch shephered was having issues of early morning acid reflux vomiting on almost a weekly basis from a different kibble. We switched to this sensitive tummy and she's doing much better. No gas. no reflux. healthy, regular BMs. She's very sensitive to kibbles, but I'm afraid of missing nutrients from their diet, so we do roughly half/half : kibble/fresh food. She's a healthy 70lbs and gets 1 cup of kibble daily (2.5c total food daily)

Worms in the food. Im not sure what happened but this last bag of Purina pro plan had egg sacks with worms. Per google, they are pantry moth larvae.

The best dog food we've come across for our Bernice Mountain Dog. She likes to eat it. It doesn't upset her stomach.

The box is entirely too big and makes handling tough on everyone.. A 40lb bag of dog food flopping inside of a box that is too big is unnecessary.

I was feeding another Purina Pro kibble, and my 5 yr old shepherd kept having loose stool every 2-3 weeks. I switched over to this, and it's been almost 3 weeks, and no sign of gastrointestinal issues. Read ingredients carefully and a slow switch-over helps.

I bought this dog food because I thought my dog might be allergic to chicken, so I decided to splurge on this one. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. The very first time I offered it to my dog, he wouldn’t eat it, which was unusual. I initially thought maybe it was just the flavor he didn’t like. But then I noticed a couple of black bugs in the food. I brushed it off, thinking maybe they crawled in by accident. By the second time I went to feed him, I saw more of these bugs actually inside the airtight bucket where I store all his food. I’ve never had this issue with any other brand. The third time, it got even worse: I found dried worms and even some that were still alive. Today, the bucket was just infested with black bugs and worms. This is absolutely disgusting and unhealthy for animals. I’ve had to contact Amazon about returning it, and now I have to take my dog to the vet to make sure he hasn’t gotten worms from this food. It’s way overpriced for the quality, and I’ve never seen anything like this happen with dog food before. I don’t know if it was a factory issue or what, but it’s just unacceptable. Do not buy this product.

I have a pitbull and if you're familiar they have a lot of stomach and skin issues. Since I switched to this food last year his skin doesn't get pink and he's not itchy. My only complaint is the seller not being able to deliver the food on time so I end up having to buy a bag from the store.
