If you put one tablespoon of this seasoning into a large bowl and add in one egg, 1/3 cup panko, 1/2 a cup of chopped sweet onions and one pound of ground chicken you can make the most delicious meatballs. I wear disposable gloves and mix it up by hand then form the meatballs and fry in a little oil, turning meatballs onto all sides to fully cook them. The meat should no longer be pink in the middle when you cut them in half. This seasoning mix is made with garlic, onion, salt, spices and herbs (including black pepper, parsley, red pepper and paprika), orange peel and green bell pepper. The generous 23 ounces will last a while and is more cost effective than the smaller bottles. I thought it was a great deal! There is also no MSG and it is gluten free. ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I had marinated (in the McCormick wine herb marinade) and cooked four chicken breasts (thin sliced) and had one left. My husband was hungry today for more protein so I fried some chopped green and red bell peppers plus some sweet onions (I had it all in the freezer) in two tablespoons of butter until soft. Then I added in 2 tablespoons of flour and whisked in one cup water plus a little over a teaspoon of Better than Bouillon chicken base. I added in the one leftover chicken breast I'd chopped up into smaller pieces. Then I seasoned the gravy with some of this Montreal seasoning and some freshly ground pepper and a little herbed salt. It was delicious. I told my husband I'd made one thinly sliced chicken breast feed two people! So this seasoning can be used in all sorts of ways. Your imagination is the limit! P.S. 2 - Made my husband a really great sandwich with meatballs cut in half on a toasted cheese sandwich made with half mozzarella and half cheddar. He loved it. I simply made the sandwich in a fry pan and then opened up the bread and put the heated in the microwave meatball halves in and closed up the bread again. He wants me to remember how to make that sandwich. Seems like this seasoning is useful for sandwiches too. P.S. 3 - I keep figuring out new ways to use this seasoning. Tonight I put two tablespoons of butter in a large fry pan and added one can of Swanson's low-sodium chicken plus two packages of Thai Kitchen fried rice and heated that up nicely. Then I seasoned it with this Montreal chicken seasoning. Perfect! We also used some sweet-and-sour sauce. It was just like takeout rice!
