Why will the cot not open up?

I’m not sure what won’t open up. I know mine was very stiff the first time I opened it and I couldn’t get the middle to latch down so I laid on it and that did the trick. Otherwise something might be caught but without seeing it is difficult to diagnose.

Is the oxford cloth that is attached to the base noisy when you move or roll over?

No not really. When I roll or move on you can hear the legs creaking but it’s not loud or comes off as cheap. I’m 6’1 230 and for the most part it’s very quiet.

How do you clean the mattress?

It is recommended to hand wash the mattress.
