I bought this to solve an issue I was having with my water distiller. After each cycle, the gasket between the head unit and the boiling pot would stick and be very difficult to separate. My thought was that a little lubrication might solve the problem, but since I’m drinking the distilled water, I wanted something food safe. If I’m going through the trouble of distilling water, it doesn’t make much sense to introduce a non food safe product. I remembered using food grade silicone grease in the past for SCUBA diving O rings, so I looked for something similar that was NSF H-1 rated and safe for incidental food contact. This is what I ended up with. It worked exactly like I hoped. After applying a small amount to the gasket, the parts separate easily with no sticking. Since then, I’ve found a few other uses for it as well, things like blender seals, water filter components, and even refrigerator door seals. Pros: Food grade and safe for incidental contact Works well on gaskets and seals Water resistant and long lasting Useful for multiple household applications Cons: None in my experience Bottom line: If you need a food safe lubricant for seals or O rings, this works great. I would recommend it and will buy it again.

I’m surprised I never heard of silicone grease sooner coming from a long line of engineers, but glad I found this product. I learned I’m better at screwing on objects than unscrewing and gosh if I can unscrew my darn shower filter apart (seriously, there are full Reddit pages on this). I even tried a strap wrench, but nada — it refused to come undone. Happily, this seems to work wonders. No more leaking from my filter, cleans easily with a microfiber cloth, and best of all, I can open my shower filter with little to no elbow grease, haha.

I received three, 1-oz. tubes of good silicone grease. Works great on O-rings & fittings for my pool.

Nothing wrong with the product; it is what it is. Just be aware that it's only 1oz. The tube size is a little misleading because it's not completely full. So be sure 1 oz is enough for your job. My experience: 1 oz was just barely enough to dress the large (16" diameter) o-ring on my pond filter..

Great price per ounce. It's nice and thick for plumbing applications, but used sparingly it will work for many other applications. Its dielectric properties make it acceptable for most automobile electrical uses. A small amount on a rag will allow you to work in into weatherstripping to extend its life. All in all a great product and purchase price.

So far enjoying the seamless application of it. Used it on our rv toilet seal and it cleared up our jamming issue we ran into after changing the seals out. So we will see how long it lasts before reapplying but so far it is working great. Saved us from replacing the whole foot pedal assembly

The package came without damage and on time. This is the correct type of general lubricant for things around the kitchen/bathroom that is food grade and safe in case it comes in contact with food or water. This 3 pack is the perfect size for keeping one in the garage, one in the house, and one in the toolbox in your truck for work. If your job requires this type of lubricant, consider ordering the larger size.

I bought this for my RainFresh water filtration system I recently purchased. They didn't include a tiny package of silicone grease, and the stumps on these products are a little tricky to seal sometimes. So I ordered these and I think the gel properties are a little softer than other silicone lube I've used, but this was still absolutely fine. I have no leaks and that's the important thing. The goo also helps the sump slide past the O-ring which makes it easier to get them on right. The tubes are a little smaller than I was expecting but as far as that goes this should last me many many years. Good product. Very happy.

I was in need for some Silicone Lub for a few different items. A coffee maker and a drill, for example. This lub worked very well for both! I like the fact that the quantity comes in three tubes and not one. It allows me to keep the lub in different places - and it might help in keeping some of the silicone fresh if not opened. I am just guessing on this one! The lub has worked really well on the gears of the drill. It is exactly what was needed for the plastic gears inside the housing. The same is true on the coffee machine, although I am still waiting for some parts to complete the repairs. It should do the same function. Lub the plastic gears, keeping them protected and allowing smooth operation. The price point was great. I have every confidence in this product and would not hesitate to order it again. But that will mean drinking a lot more coffee!
