Not that easy to install but that’s the fault of the shampooer not the belt. Fits perfectly. Let YouTube help you. I’m writing four months later. I got some carpet fringe stuck in the shampooer and no surprise, the belt snapped. What was the surprise was the heated , gooey tar like mess it left behind which required petroleum solvents to clean up. Maybe they all do this. I guess I’ll find out.

I was very happy to find replacement bands for our shampooer for such a low cost. I dont know much about vacuum/ shampooer repair, replacing the belt was really easy although they felt a little too tight, but that may be the way they're supposed to be. They do have a strong rubber smell but that goes away fairly quick. Bands are e made from a solid rubber and worked perfectly.

They work great , we're easy to install. Would buy again.

The belt broke the first time it was used. Within seconds after correctly installing it, the belt melted and broke in the machine and I could smell burning rubber. I used the instructions given by Hoover as well as a video to guide me and I know the belt was installed correctly.
