So fun for my kiddo

This set is very small and a bit disappointing to give as a gift.

Great gift idea for kiddos who have a passion for solving and learning! Got this for my great nephew and his face lit up! He has a future in law enforcement ♡

I bought two of these for a fun science experiment in class, but neither of them worked at all. Very disappointing.

So Small! I bought it as a Christmas gift for an aspiring detective, but it was so tiny. My bad for not reading the specs, I guess. Never gifted it so I can't attest to the product itselt.

My grandson enjoys finger printing all of us. He’s a detective in the making.

The Thames & Kosmos Fingerprinting Kit is a lot of fun and provides an engaging way to explore fingerprinting. However, it only comes with a small amount of tape—just 8 pieces—and since each fingerprint requires a piece, you’ll run out quickly. Luckily, if you add your own tape, there’s plenty of powder included to do lots more fingerprints. We used regular packing tape, and it worked great with the included powder. Just be prepared for a tiny bit of a mess; however, putting down a paper towel before you start makes cleanup easy.

My young daughter (who loves Spy things) was able to lift a few prints when going through the process very carefully. The powder didn't seem to work quite as well as another kit I remember using a while back. Maybe something to do with whatever kind of white powder it is, instead of the typical black? There weren't as many pads to apply the fingerprints to as there are lifting stickers, either, so you get a hot dogs vs hot dog buns situation. I generally like Thames & Kosmos stuff, and will say that this is at least a useable kit, but would suggest you could probably find better elsewhere (though perhaps not at this price?)

It did not work. When my students tried it out (after reading the instructions VERY carefully), the powder did not work and it was either just a big mess or tiny dot. It did not even show the lines of their fingers. Very disappointing.

My Grandson loves this spy kit, he was so excited when he opened it, the finger printing kit is simple and easy to use and gives good images, it also washes off easily too. It can be used over and over again. Great for budding little detectives.

Bought for 6 year old who's into soy stuff he loves it he's been taking everyone's finger prints

Bought for a 7 year old, did not work at all was very disappointed
