this is the second one i buy, after 3 months half of the lights would not light up, but i liked it so much im trying it again. its great at night ,not only does it look nice but it helps light up the road in front of you. hope this one last a long time, I thought I had submitted this review when I bought it in January, I came back on here to let you know this is my second one I bought and this time it lasted 6 months , as much as I like the look of it and the light it gives off at night . I will not be buying another one ☹️

If u have a truck get 71inch. Reason for the 2 stars is part of the light strip is not lighting. And it has been less than 60 days. I made no adjustments to the strip (no cutting). Easy install. But just after a little over a month, only part of the strip is lighting. It looked great when it was working properly. Now it's been removed. UPDATED. The seller sent me a replacement fast. That's worth 5stars alone. The replacement is working fine. Ty 😊

The light strip is good, it looks incredible and even more so when the car is turned on, the bad thing is that when I put it on, a part of it stopped lighting up approximately 2 inches and I had to tap it so that it would start, it now turns on completely because it is pressed by the hood

Buyer beware!! Will fail within a few months or after a car wash even an hand wash. Absolutely beautiful if you have a Dodge ram, but these are absolute junk. I’ve had to buy six of them now and the only reason I keep doing it is because it looks so good but at this point I’m gonna replace all of the wiring the entire harness and really put some good stuff into this so it continues to work on my light because these are absolute junk. Horrible quality. I literally just had to order another one and I checked all the fuses the wiring, the ground the power everything it was all good, but that crappy wiring that comes with us just gets destroyed so easily with just running for a little bit.

If you want to make it even smoother, those fuse taps are the secret sauce. It's like the automotive equivalent of adding whipped cream to your hot cocoa - a game-changer. Now, onto the brightness. This light strip doesn't just light up your hood; it practically turns it into a runway for UFOs to land. It's like having your own personal sun that follows you around, but without the sunburn risk. It's like your car is saying, "Look at me, I'm fabulous!" In conclusion, the HConce Car Hood Light Strip is not just an accessory; it's a statement. It's easy to install, blindingly bright, and it takes your car's coolness factor up several notches. Installed this on my SUV. It was easy enough to install once I figured out how to use a fuse splitter. The adhesive that came on it was ok, but I used some 3M automotive gasket adhesive to keep it in place so it wouldn't come off during a car wash or anything. One thing I'll mention is, if you decide to trip the light strip, be aware it will stop working a few inches before the spot you cut it. So if it's 60 inches, and you need to trip it down to say 50 and cut it at 50 inches, it will stop working around 47 or 48 inches. So trim in small increments. Also, because of the startup animation, if you trim it, the animation will not be in sync. It's hard to explain and I didn't capture it on film. Basically, right out the box, the light turns on from each side, meets in the middle, then bounces back. If you trim it, it still does it, but doesn't account for where you trim it. So the distances will be off.

Easy to install. Looks great. Everyone at work wants to know where I got it from.
