Great product, would like to re- order

I have used these ink cartridges for last couple years. The last batch, purchased in 2023, did have a small black ink "bleed" issue on some pages. This seemed worse when printing envelopes. Also, sometimes the printed page would be extremely faint if the printer sat idle for weeks. I was always able to correct these issues by cleaning the print head in the maintenance menu. I do also get the non-HP genuine cartridge message, but only at initial installation. The fact these are 75% less than HP cartridges makes it worth the buy. I will be buying again. Note - it's best NOT to update your printer software. This is an HP scam, which they use to prevent use of 3rd party cartridges!! And, DO NOT remove the plastic film on the nozzle. Think this creates the seal in the printer and failure causes the ink bleed issues. Lastly, simply execute the printer head cleaning maintenance, which I think takes care of most of the complaints in the various reviews for this.

There's a reason these are so much less expensive than HP's REDICULOUSLY HIGH, EXTROTION PRICING for HP ink cartridges: They simply won't work. HP will BLOCK the ability to print while one of these cartridges is installed! Does me ZERO good to use an ink cartridge that blocks any printing, no matter how inexpensive it is!!

They work great and were not as expensive as the original cartridges

This is an update to a review that I posted 2 weeks ago where I'd given these cartridges less than 5 stars because my printer stopped working. This vendor reached out to me to explain that due to recent firmware upgrades by HP printers, there have been issues with the ink cartridges that I'd purchased. I was extremely impressed that this small company reached out to me on their own, explained the problem & offered me compensation for my issues. That kind of customer service is worth 5+ stars to me. Their cartridges had worked flawlessly prior to me allowing my old HP to update itself. At first I didn't make the connection that tht update to my printer happened just before the problem occurred. Since I thought my older printer was broken, I did 2 things. I went to Costco to purchase a new HP printer & as a test plan I ordered new HP cartridges for my OLD printer from Amazon. The new Costco printer cost approx $160 & the multi pack of HP cartridges from Amazon costs almost the same thing! The new HP cartridges worked & I returned the new printer to Costco. HP has a true monopoly by issuing software updates to ensure that no other companies can sell cartridges for their printers. It's unbelievable that a set of HP print cartridges cost the same amount as a purchasing new printer. Also I read the fine print for the new Costco HP printer & found that it required that I subscribe to their HP ink replacement program. HP is continuously gouging it's customers for money! I'm so thankful for the customer service from this company who makes these generic cartridges & wish them much success in the computer ink market.
