Lightweight, easy to clean, and more expensive looking than they actually are. Definitely chip and scratch resistant to be used for daily use, as well as special gatherings. Was packed perfectly by the manufacturer in a huge box, but with the care to guarantee not a single piece was damage. Bought as a gift for my mom to replace her heavy dinner dishes from Fiesta and other brands. These will last for years, and the pattern gives it a special touch that stops it being just basic. Very pleased with this purchase, after looking at dinnerware from CB2, Pottery Barn, West Elm, and other retailers. The bowls and cups are a VERY generous size! You will be surprised! Worth the price!

We recently downsized and I wanted new dishes. This set of 6 is perfect for our everyday and entertaining needs. The pattern is beautiful and similar to a very expensive one called "Nantucket Basket." The dishes are sturdy, yet lightweight and easy to load in the dishwasher. The coffee mugs are very large, however, so not great for cappuccinos and espresso.

Beautiful but it DOES chip. 2 weeks in and 1 mug has a chip PLUS another of the mugs had the bottom just fall off!!! I've never seen that happen before.

All pieces came perfectly wrapped. Plates size is nice, cups are huge. Love this China

What a great addition to my cottage...This pattern will literally go with anything...The mugs are for a real sized cup of coffee and perfect for early mornings in the mountains...The girlfriend loves being able to wrap her hands around the mug...The bowls are of excellent proportion...I don't know what another reviewer was referring to when comparing to Pyrex...I cannot wait to serve salad and stew with these - multi-purpose...My first time buying MStewart and will not be the last...The quality, fit, and finish are exceptional.

I have moved into senior housing after retirement and have been downsizing. I passed on all of my dinnerware along with most of my vast amount of cooking items. I wanted a small set of simple white dinnerware for my new home. I like Martha Stewart and have many of her products. The Basket Weave pattern appealed to me as a fan of Wedgwood Nantucket Basket Weave china. Unfortunately for me I broke two mugs and two salad plates while unpacking the box. Be careful opening the box and treat them like fine china.

Bubbles, rough bottoms, not consistent thickness. I returned them. They would scratch my glass table from the rough bottoms. The dinner plates were a normal thickness but the smaller plates were so thin, they didn't look like they'd last long without breaking. They also got hotter than I thought they should in the microwave. Definitely not worth the price.

These are really nice dishes. I like the size of the dishes, more importantly the size of the bowls and mugs. Good size for cereal and soup. I got the setting for four and it makes me feel so sophisticated. My mom would be proud. She bought dishes for me, had to replace. The basket pattern gives you something to grab onto. Good value

Very high end and heavy weighted. Majorly impressed.
