I'm recuperating from major spinal surgery, and this seat has been a great help.It's simple, sturdy, and functional. I weigh 315 pounds, and it has been stable and solid. The side arms have supported me well in sitting and standing. The simple design is easy to clean. And as I have gotten stronger, it has been easy to adjust the seat lower, inch by inch.As a big man, (ahem) I have found it good to place a folded washcloth over the front metal bar, where the blue seat has an opening. We can just say that soft warm cloth is more comfortable to the touch than cold metal. 😉

Fit & finish, weight and ease of assembly are the best! It's easily adjusted to fit the best height for us, it supports our weight easily (I’m 240lbs - the wife’s weight is classified*) and the unit is lightweight. We are very happy with performance. “It’s perfect,” the wife said. I assembled it in about 5 minutes! For those who questioned its stability, I suggest you check 1) the tightness of the screws; 2) the height adjustments on the legs [make sure the pop-out retainer beads are ALL equal distant from the top or bottom]; and 3) failing that, check your floors for being level. Our unit was so quick & easy - we just ordered a 2nd for another bathroom!

Fabulous!!! I was able to put together myself, the seat is sturdy (my old one was thin) lightweight to pick up and easy for me to put together with great directions.

In the past when someone has had surgery we purchased the clunky plastic thing that bolted to the bowl under the toilet seat and raised the seat by about 6 inches. Not a fan so I decided to try this one. First of all it is very lightweight so it is easy to slide away from the bowl when someone wants to use the toilet normally. It does not attach at all so you can move it over the toilet quite easily. The other plus is that the height is adjustable, so you aren't stuck with a specific height, and can set it to where it is most comfortable. Great idea.

This is Perfect , it was easy to put together as well as The measurements I took before I purchased this was the right fit for my husband's toilet He had his femur bone broken in 5 places and is healing wonderfully he can get up and down on his own using this raised seat Love it Thank you.

We purchased this item twice: July of 2024 and April of 2025. The first purchase lasted 9 months before breaking. The second purchase lasted 3 months! The construction is not adequate. The bars across the front should be welded, or better secured. Amazon Customer Service was awesome, when I requested a refund. Our account showed that we have purchased three raised-arm toilet seats from Amazon within 9 months, as we just ordered a different, better option.

This is well made but there are problems. 1. Thought i was padded(my mistake. 2. Open front. seonce most triple buy this to raise the toilet seat an open front in problematic. It needs a urine defector.3. I use mostly arm strength to get up, It is a little unstable. It needs to have a way to secure the seat with a bar behindd the original toilet seat. I will likely buy a differs product because of these problems.
