Men's Fitsmartfisherman Fisherman Sandal

I was hesitant to buy these "sandals" due to the price, but am glad that I did. They are very comfortable, have great breathability, and are stylish enough to be worn almost anywhere. They are more like a shoe than a sandal in that they have a closed heel, which makes walking much much easier than if they had an open heel like a traditional sandal. The top strap is adjustable so you can make the fit as snug or as loose as you please. I have extremely wide feet and the 4E width I ordered fits perfectly. I wore them the other day on a 3-mile walk on mostly gravel roads and my feet felt great when I got home. These sandals seem to be very well made, despite being made in China (which came as a surprise to me). I can't rate their durability/longevity since I've only owned them a short while, but for now I give these sandals a solid 5-star rating.

Wow! Just wow! If you wear a 13 you have had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. When you get older and your feet change that search gets even more difficult. These sandals are the answer. I put them on and was like a kid in a candy store. They fit perfectly, hold you foot like a shoe, and are light and comfortable. A real best buy.

I've been wearing Dunham shoes and sandals since the early 1990s. These men's Fitsmart Fisherman Sandals are true to length but not true to width. The wider sizes are much less generous around the instep and in the toe-box than shoes made on Dunham's shoe-lasts of yesteryear. And I say that having bought a pair that is a full size larger than my usual size! These sandals are pointy-toed. They have an extra inch of length in the toe but no more roominess around the instep. The quality of the leather and the stitching has also gone down. They're not cheaply made; they just don't compare favorably to Dunham's former excellence. Finally, these sandals have a foam insole which I don't much like the feel of. A disappointment.

My husband has LB Dementia and has Edema so we tried 11 pairs of different shoes (all purchased online because he can't leave his facility)and this one turned out to be the one he loved the most. I wish it came in black but it is built just wonderfully with such soft leather and it is onethat he can easily put on himself so he enjoys that little bit of pride. I ordered it 1/2 size larger than usual and XX wide to fit when his feet are soswollen. It's nicely stable for his good balance and padded on the inside for comfort and foot health. I'm so grateful for this wonderful shoe!!!

Woohoo!!! I finally found some closed heeled sandals that fit perfectly. I need to use a small heel lift to accomodate a short leg, and these allow for that, as well as a insole gizmo that provides better arch support. But nobody can see all of that business in these shoes. And the 4Es are perfectly comfortable. At 53yo, I have found a new brand of shoes that just works. This is a good day.

I rarely write a review but these sandals are worth the effort.Have been wearing these for a full year now and they are holding up GREAT!I wear them every day,all summer long and when we stay in Myrtle Beach in the winter.On occasion I get them wet and they stay supple.Just clean them with a wash cloth and mild soap once in a while and they look like new.The stitching has held up wonderfully,hardly any wear on the bottom of the soles, much better than expected.I'll buy them again in a heartbeat (if these ever wear out).

I've worn them often and have put lots of miles on them for the short time I have had them (about 1 mos). It remains to be seen if they will be durable enough to last more than 2 summers. I wanted the closed heel so that I could use a gel heel pad (where I put the most weight). No problems and really comfortable.

Was looking for a slip on sandal but I ended up purchasing these. They are fairly easy to get on, they are comfortable to the feet with good arch support.

Very nice sandal/shoe! Looks exactly like the picture. Well made. And most of all comfortable from the second I put them on! No stitches or ridges or lumps or bumps anywhere. Will work without or with short socks!
