What do I like? Where to start?! I LOVE the flavours! Pretzel is definitely my fave! Mud pie is amazing. Carmel chocolate is a close 1st too! I LOVE the that you get 2 in a pack. This makes me feel like I can save a little for later - rarely! They are just too good! But it makes it just so much better! I can honestly say I don’t have a bad thing to say about this brand and products. I did a 14 week shred this year and had a battle bite bar everyday as my “treat” - I got in the best shape of my life. High protein. Low sugar! Perfect! If you want a slice of heaven everyday - have a battle bites bar!

I have sampled a good few protein bars now and whilst I don't claim to be an afficionado I have got something to compare this to. Skinny duo bars, grenade bars and Bulk munch bars are my main reference points. I would score the battle bites bars on the same level as skinny duo behind Bulk and Grenade bars. Skinny duo cookies and cream is the only one I've tried so far and it is arguably a nicer bar to eat. Similar in that both the battle bites and duo have two halves to help you portion them out but both have different issues. Duo is tastier but lower calories and not great protein - 14g I think. Battle bites is a good consistency, okay calories - about 240ish per bar but 20-21g of protein. Battle bites consistency and edibility is generally good but the flavour is underwhelming. I've had caramel, pretzel and toffee apple and they all taste fine but I'd want them to be more flavourful. This review is specific to the toffee apple flavour. I don't really see or feel any popping candy but the toffee apple is there. Very pleasant actually but just a bit lacking. All and all a good bar. Value fluctuates depending on flavour and toffee apple was definitely the best value at £13 per box. I wouldn't want to pay much more than that to be honest.

If you’ve had any of the other flavours of battle bites before then you’ll know what to expect from such a great tasting protein bar! The newest flavour certainly does not disappoint as its absolutely amazing! If you like a caramel flavoured chocolate bar like a caramac or gold bar, then you will love these as thats what the flavour reminded me of and you get the added extra of pretzel pieces on top! Cannot recommend these enough as they are a healthy substitute for either of them in terms of macronutrients and i find them a lot more satiating than junk food. I have tried all of the flavours or battle bites and a wide variety of other protein bars but these are definitely going to be one of my favourites!

I have now completely switched over to these from Grenade bars since I find them as delicious as any chocolate bar. Love the texture, the sweetness and the gooey centre, especially for the chocolate caramel and chocolate fondant flavours. My stomach is sensitive to polyols though so they make me bloat if I eat too many.

I’ve pretty much tried every protein bar in the uk market. This flavour sounded different and I like the idea of two bites rather than one bar so I though I’d give battle bites another go after having mediocre feelings about the previous flavours I’ve tried. They don’t taste bad but definitely not my first choice. Price isn’t competitive in comparison to other protein bars neither is nutritional value so I’m in doubt I’ll be ordering these again
