I had alot of fun putting together this little house. There were a few things that got a little frustring. You definitely need patience when putting something this small together. If you take your time and pay close attention to the instructions You will love the end result. It's most definitely not for beginners. Keep in mind there are so many tiny pieces and you have to assemble EVERYTHING yourself. I didn't have any problems understanding the instructions. You do need to buy you own glue it doesnt come with any. I didn't have any missing or broken part. I think the price was fair. I cant wait to buy the purple house next.

At first glance reading the instructions, this project is pretty overwhelming. This is the second one I have done and it was significantly harder. However, it is so dang satisfying as you complete each item. I have this a 4 because: the instructions could be WAY more clear and some of the bigger pieces could be assembled with notches opposed to glue. The glue strings are everywhere when you do this project.

The house is basic but cute and easy to dress up. I changed mine to a Christmas theme. This particular seller did not include lights, battery box, dust cover or tools. I did get glue though…which never happens. Not for kids or beginners in my opinion. Lots of little pieces and you have to line everything up perfectly when building or it will not look right.

I like very much the complicated scenes, with many elements to be constructed in 3-D from bits of this and that - paper, beads, jewelry findings, twine, plastic twigs and paper elements. The instructions are pretty thorough, but still - read them carefully, and have a sharp hobby knife handy, to sliver out the various laser-cut wood elements. On these kits the laser-cut panels are made in thin plywood, which sometimes do not come away cleanly from the wood panel they are cut from, leaving an unsightly divot.But altogether - a nicely designed scene, and a lot of fun to assemble.
