Nice'n Easy No Ammonia Hair Dye, 75 Light Ash Brown, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

A great hair colour that gives a good natural dark brown colour, blending well with dark brown hair colours and covers all greys perfectly. It's very easy to use, with process of applying taking about 30 mins in total (inc. shower time). Lasts well, as after each application it tends to last me for about a month and a half to 2 months until I need to think about using it again. Considering the price of this product, I'd say that's very reasonable, whether you want to use it regularly or just occasionally to spruce yourself up. Product is aimed at women, but as a man with medium length hair, I can state with experience (having used this countless times now) this works great for men too!

Covers my stubbon greys. I also use this in between on my t zone (mix separately) and works really well. Colour lasts a long time. I would say it is more of a level 5 dark brown so be aware of this when purchasing. It does a lovely job of making the greys into natural highlights and they pick up a lighter brown natural colour. Very conditioning.

After years of using various shades of brown hair colourant in permanent, I decided to switch to the non-permanent alternative from Clairol following colour removal. Bought in the Dark Brown shade, this non-permanent version has provided the same excellent coverage as the permanent dye. To ensure a good coverage and in a bid to avoid build up on the ends, I applied this to my roots and left for 10-15 minutes, before applying the remainder of the dye to the ends and leaving for an addtional 5 minutes. Once rinsed thoroughly, I used all of the conditioner sachet from roots to tips - This may be a little much for thise with thin or oil prone hair, so avoid the roots; but I opted for a full intense conditioning treatment root to tip. I was left with an even coverage and shiney dark hair once again. After a few hiccups with home kits and root only kits, I had needed to even out the roots & mid section which appeared to be in 3 shades... This method of roots then ends, and the particular shade chosen, did the job. So I am now at roughly wash 5 of 24, and the coverage is still even & dark, I think this would last just as well as the permanent colour which I would top up every 6 weeks or so (damn roots!), and I look forward to continuing with this brand!

This did not turn my greys into brown, more like a blond tinted grey. They are still obvious. I thought the shade of brown would have been sufficient. My hair felt nice and soft though.
