A Black copy of a Bendix air dryer at less than 1/2 price
I have this installed on my dump truck for several weeks. My previous Bendix AD-9 was a Bendix reman. from Mexico.The first one was warrantied in less than 6 months as the purge valve would not quit leaking and the unit could not have a kit installed (no threads for the filter to mount). The replacement lasted just over 2 years before the purge valve also failed. The local International dealer recommended a new Chinese built air dryer as they are less money than even a purge valve repair kit and a filter. Their price is $169. My guess is there probably is only one manufacturer making knock offs in China so I bought this one and it is working perfectly. This unit looks just like the Bendix AD-9 just painted black instead of blue but I saved a lot of green going this route. I will update this review if I have any problems.
