The old smell before they changed the ingredients smelled like a baby. Since they changed it has more of a flower scent than a baby. It also has a lot more ingredients.

Is Dreft only for newborns? I really want to go back to Dreft for my 3 year old.

Nope, Dreft makes two different stages! Dreft Stage 1 is for Newborns, and Dreft Stage 2 is for "Active Baby." We use stage 2 for our toddler and it works great and smells amazing!

Does this take out baby poop stains?

No it does not. The only thing that I found to remove those is Shout. Spot treat the stain with shout, then wash normally with Dreft.

Is this the original scent or the new scent?

No, it is not the original scent. I returned a first order I made because it was not the original scent. I contacted the seller and was told they would re send the correct item, Original Scent Dreft. The second item I received was also not the original scent.

Excellent laundry detergent for baby clothes!

The Dreft liquid laundry detergent has worked great for me. It cleans my baby's clothes very well, removes everyday stains, and leaves the clothes with a soft, pleasant scent that isn't overpowering. It's also gentle on fabrics and hasn't caused any irritation to my baby's sensitive skin. A small amount is enough for each load, so it lasts a long time. It's definitely an excellent choice for keeping baby clothes clean and fresh. I would buy it again and highly recommend it!

Removes baby food stains well but has a noticeable scent

This detergent does a great job of removing baby food, milk, and everyday stains from clothes. I have used it on onesies, bibs, and towels, and it cleans thoroughly without leaving residue behind. It works especially well for messy meals and spit-up, which makes it very useful for active babies. The formula is hypoallergenic and gentle on baby skin, which is important when washing clothes that are worn all day. It rinses out well and does not leave clothes feeling stiff or rough. One thing to be aware of is that it does have a noticeable scent. It smells clean, but some parents who prefer fragrance-free products may find it a bit strong. Overall, it is a very effective baby detergent that works well for tough baby stains.
