Matt 500 25 mm x 50 m Tape

Brilliant tape for photography studio use. Doesn't leave residue but has a great adhesion. You can leave on gear for an extended period of time (weeks, months) and will not leave any residue. This does not apply for anything that produces a good amount of heat, it will then start to degrade the tape and leave residue. you can reuse the tape and therefore I have a roll last me for at least a year or so of regular use meaning this is excellent value for money.

This is excellent fabric tape, rather like the stuff we used to use for sticking bandages on in the olden days (before paper surgical tape was invented). I used it for making screens for my windows, placing it along both sides of the edges of pvc screening (bought separately), and adding self adhesive velcro squares to hold them in place on the windows.. Although the tape sticks to itself very well on it's own, the pvc screening didn't like it, so I machine sewed along the edges. See pics. I imagine it would be a good tape to use on all sorts of things, as it is like non-plasticised duct tape... very strong.

Its ok. Does the job. It keeps leaving an annoying single strand at the edge when pulling tape off the roll. I prefer the more flexible and fabric feeling Pro-Gaff tapes though they are a similar price for half the length so are quite a bit more expensive.

I bought this as an alternative to Pro Tapes 840178007322 (paper board tape). This tape is more like gaff tape in the way it tears, it is thicker and more sturdy. From the stickiness of the sides of the roll it appears to be more sticky that the Pro Tapes stuff that I have been using. However, it does seem to easily unstick without leaving glue behind, and it is sharpie markable, so it does appear to be usable as board tape. It's rather off white in colour, almost cream. As a bonus, it's cheaper than Pro Tapes quarter inch board tape. Would recommend as a board tape.

Struggled to find "matt" tape anywhere else, this is exactly what i was looking for, and a lot of it. The adhesive is above average for standard tape, have had no issues with this coming off. The finish is matt as advertised, however one thing to note, is that the back and more importantly the edge is white which although this is not thick tape, it is still potentially noticeable when applied to a black surface for when layered ontop of itself, so may need to be touched up using a marker if necessary. Overall not an issue, still a 5 star product and i'm very happy with the result.

You can't put them down anywhere without leaving sticky residue.

Easy to use and fairly strong.
