This thing really SUCKS, and BLOWS!!!
Impressive packaging, included a very robust cut and drill template for mounting the unit. I would have expected a folded up piece of paper for the drill guide but nope, it included a very sturdy plastic template. Instructions where easy to follow. Programing the unit was intuitive and easy. Best of all it really does move some air. I installed it in a wall between the basement and middle level of our tri level house to move hot air from our fire place into the middle level where it can get cold. As soon as the temperature warms to 72 degF the unit turns on and pulls air from one room to the next and turns off if the temp falls below 68. It just works beautifully!

Good product. Effective.
We use a mini split to heat and cool a 900sqft AirBnb. This thing was a game changer in terms of helping distribute the conditioned air to the rooms further away from the split unit. It’s a little loud on higher fan speeds but not terrible.

If you live in a house with cold/hot rooms, these will make your life better.
I'm writing this from the perspective of a person who is handy around the house, but has never cut any significantly large holes in the walls of his home before, and certainly not TWO significantly large holes in between 2 very important rooms in said house before. If you're THINKING about this as an option, like i did the first time i saw these, you're gonna wanna read this: If you're not a contractor and are familiar with how to measure something like this out and how it works, this is designed to connect TWO rooms and to transfer air from the warmer room to the cooler one, or vice versa in the summer - if you have a (non ducted) heat pump, say...in the front side of your house, but it doesn't heat/cool the back side of your house, you want one of these and yes, you want to cut some big holes in your walls to connect the airflow in between them. you know how they say 'measure twice, cut once'? yeah you're gonna wanna measure like 30 times and make EXACTLY sure the front and back templates (which are provided with this model, but not others) line up. I'm pretty smart and i really had to wrap my brain around the 3D aspect of this. to make it even more complicated, the walls in one room don't terminate at the same place as the other room, so measuring 'to the far wall' was out of my options list. i ended up measuring to a stud (with a stud finder), and then marking and measuring from the nearest one and i STILL didn't line it up exactly. not only did this happen with the first one, but it happened with the second one as well. maybe i'm just terrible at measuring? who knows. once you get the holes lined up, getting the fan in is super easy. give yourself a little extra room on the hole templates. err on the 'outside edge' being a tiny bit bigger, as if you get too close it'll be tight getting both sides to line up. after that you just join the outside to the inside piece and you're done. screw them into the drywall and thats it. i went with the wire going down the wall, as i didn't want to hard wire these. the fans are QUIET until you get past 5 (it goes from 0-10). i have the one in my bedroom at 3 and the one in my hallway at 4 and you can barely hear them. people seem to complain about the complicated nature of the 'features' but they're pretty simple. for example, i choose to use 'cycle' mode. this has 2 modes, cycle on, and cycle off. if you want your fan to run for 45 min and then turn off for 30 min, then repeat the CYCLE, you go to 'cycle on' mode, set 45 min, then hit the button again to get to 'cycle off' and set that for 30 min. easy as that. we're just so used to things being 'app easy now' that we maybe forget how to follow directions. yes, i was confused at first as well lol. to determine 'what' speed it will spin at in any of the modes, you just go to the 'on' setting and set it to whatever number you want it to spin at. if you say, '3' power, every mode, once enacted will spin at 3. in summation, in the winter, the front of my house is a steady 68 degrees with the heat pump on, and the bedroom is like 61, and the even further away studio room is like 60 degrees. with the fans on, in cycle mode, average temp in bedroom is 66 and studio is 65. that's a really healthy adjustment. when we turn the stove on to cook those fans pump all that really hot air all the way to the back of the house and make it feel like we had the furnace on. can't recommend these enough. it requires some thought and work but you can really change your house temperature and save some money with these. i'm certain when we cool the house in the summer it will have the same effect.

Slightly noisier than expected but a good value
I extended this with 8" ducting to push air through the depth of a closet, not just a single wall. It seems to work well. My biggest deciding factor for this unit was noise level (low except on higher speeds) and that the fan blades & motor work effectively in either direction. Being able to move warm air out in warm seasons and warm air in during cool seasons with a single unit is a huge plus.

Works great
Set mine on 10 and it pulls the steam out great. Our ac handles the moisture just fine. Remote would be great but I plugged it into an Alexa socket and use voice control to turn it on and off. Installing an external exhaust was to costly and nearly impossible. This fixed a problem we’ve had since we bought the house 10 years ago.

Quite satisfied
This is a nice unit. Looks good, can move a decent amount of air, lots of power/speed settings, has good mounting hardware, instructions, and templates for installation. Compared to another cheaper through-wall fan I've tried it's quiet and vibration-free. Pretty much what I had hoped for all along (the previous, cheaper unit was...disappointing).

Good quality, low noise, great air flow
I have that one bedroom where all heat collects. I purchased this fam to blow air out of that room at ceiling height into the main room that has a ceiling fan that moves that hot air down to where the house thermostat is. Before installing this fan, the room was unusable without a huge fan at the doorway - and even then, it was barely usable. With this fan installed and running on medium speed, the room is warm, but not unberable. The air conditioning turns on more often, but doesn't run as long. Overall, it keeps air moving around the house and inhibits that pocket of unbearably hot air. Installation was as easy as could be expected. The instructions suggest doing the outside of the fan first, but I had to do the inside first. The only issue I had was trying to perfectly align the holes on each side of the wall. The inside hole is nice and snug. The outside hole is a little larger than it needs to be because I had trouble getting the two aligned. When it is all put together, you can't see the holes at all, so it doesn't really matter. We are using the plug going into an outlet below the fan. It says it can be hard-wired, but that isn't very reasonable. The junction box inside the fan is far too small and it needs a grommet for the incoming wire. You could hard-wire it, but you shouldn't if you want to keep your electricity up to code. Noise is the big issue. We were using an 18 inch floor fan to pull air out of the doorway. It was very loud and didn't keep the room cool. This little fan is quiet enough on medium speed (5 out of 10) that it doesn't bother anyone. On 10, you can hear the rushing air and it an annoyance if you are trying to listen to TV or a video nearby. With it on 5, we haven't had any problems. It has been installed and running for a week. Hopefully the unit lasts a long time.

Fungerar mycket bra! Ju högre varv desto högre ljud, men inget man inte kan stå ut med då det kniper.

Well made fan that fits out interior wall perfectly. Good instructions and the electronic functions work well. Very quiet operation.

SATISFAIT ...totalement !

I live in a split-entry house in Canada. I installed a pellet stove in my lower level family room two winters ago and relied on convection to move the heat from that room, down a hallway and up into our main living area. However, I found the lower level room would get very warm before any benefit was felt upstairs. This fan is a game changer. I installed it high on the wall between that room and my entryway, bypassing the hallway altogether. I had an electrician tie it in to an outlet that was located in the same wall cavity. The thermal probe is on the hot side, and comes on when the temp is above 73 deg f. Now the lower room doesn't get super warm because the heat is exhausted to the rest of the house much quicker. My entryway was always the coldest space in my house, but now I don't feel a temp difference walking through it to get downstairs. Upstairs is cozy warm, and my baseboard electric is rarely coming on. I really hope this fan will last for many years. Great product!
