Noragami: Stray God 15

You know that mystery character from American Gods that nobody can remember? Well what if you based a story around him and set it in Japan. How does a god that requires belief to survive, do so when nobody can retain their memories of him?I marathon bought and read all the books in this series to date after watching the anime. This is not something that I normally do so this series occupies a special place in that regard. It does that thing that I like of mixing the mundane nature of the normal world with the other-worldliness of the other. Readers of Neil Gaiman's work or fans of the Bakamonogatari series will know that vibe. I say give it a shot. Despite already knowing most of the story from the anime I do not regret buying and reading the story in the "original" format.

I really want to see what happens after Hiyori and Yato getting tied together!

Everything was ok; the book and the delivery as usual :)

Another intense volume! Most of the first part has to do with the yearly council of the Gods, Yukine doesn't want to go. There is a lot of tension throughout with Kazuma and I really don't like him at this point though I did earlier. Finally, we meet the #1 god, the highest ranking god over the gods and she is a troublemaker! There's a cool story to finish with how Bishamon gets herself an unusual new shinki. Loved the ending art!
