Gatwick 7 Qt ECI Dutch Oven - Linen w/Gold Knob

I recently picked up the Martha Stewart 7qt enamel Dutch oven in mint green, and I have to say, it’s quickly become my kitchen favorite! Not only is the color absolutely stunning—it's like a pop of freshness in my cooking space—but it also performs beautifully. I've used it for everything from soups to casseroles, and it heats evenly every time. The enamel coating makes cleaning a breeze, which is a huge plus after a long day of cooking. I’ve even baked bread in it, and the results were fantastic—crispy crust and soft inside just like I hoped! The size is perfect too; whether I'm cooking for friends or just my family, it holds a lot without feeling cumbersome. Plus, it feels sturdy and well-made. Honestly, it’s not just a pretty piece; it’s a workhorse in the kitchen. If you're on the fence about getting one, I’d say go for it! You won’t regret adding this beauty to your collection.

I love, love, love this Pot. I was worried at first about the weight of cast iron. I am, after all, 74 years old and not as strong as I once was. But, the handles make it safe for me to pick up. So far, I've made a pot roast and chili on the electric stove top, and roasted chicken with chopped veggies in the oven. The pot heats evenly. The lid has the self-basting spikes and a nice rim so the enamel doesn't get scratched or damaged by it. It holds the heat in so everything cooks a bit faster. I put pot holders on the stove top and transfer the pot from the oven to the top carefully. Don't want to break my glass stovetop. Once the pot is empty and cooled, I fill it with hot, soapy water. In 10 minutes time it washes clean with a cloth. No scrubbing necessary. This will truly be the last large pot I will ever need.
