Is skilsaw spt70wt-01 the same saw as skilsaw spt99-11 just without the stand/wheels?

No, it is not. The spt99 has a more powerful worm drive, a larger rip capacity, (30.5" vs 23.5") and (in my opinion, the most important,), a rack and pinion fence system.
