PowerGear Loppers Anvil (S) L31, Patented Mechanism PowerGear II

Brilliant little loppers.

These loppers are compact and lightweight, but the gearing mechanism enables them to cut through branches up to an inch thick (depending on the hardness of the material). A very useful addition to the gardening arsenal.

Keep them sharp and they'll cut through any branch that will fit in the jaws. Conveniently small if you don't need the big version. Don't be but off by the plastic handles and anvil, they are as good as any metal loppers and they are lighter to carry or hold.

Replacement for a pair that got stolen and so good that I had to buy another Anvil lopper by Fiskars. Light and can use all day and very good at cutting branches- in effect do the job brilliantly. Also own a heavier model for thicker branches,etc and both terrific loppers.

These are lightweight anvil shears, very similar to the (cheaper) Wilkinson Sword equivalents. I am trying this brand because the 'unbreakable' anvil on the Wilkinson Sword equivalent broke - after a lot of hard shearing. The new ones look identical to the Wilkinson Sword ones - apart from the logo. So I expect the new ones to break at some point. But if they last as long as the old ones, I will consider them good value for money. The remaining question will be: are they better than the old ones. Ask me - after a lot of hard shearing!

I originally had these for years, almost a decade I might guess. They are small and I leave them everywhere, but one day they went missing. I'm thinking a Builder took them by mistake, and I was so sad I made sure I bought exactly the same pair as a replacement. I wondered whether I needed bigger, stronger, tougher, a different brand. No. I yearned for the same set I had. They pack a lot in, these go through things that may surprise you... if you can fit it between the jaws and have the strength to close them - it'll chop through. I understand how a longer set of arms may mean even more chopping success, but I'm happy with these. If I happen to find the other pair some future day I will be even happier.

Fisker power to cut ration excellent and light to handle great for small shrub branches.

Es una gran tijera, cómoda y muy versátil para ramas pequeñas, dispongo de otra de 80 cm y en algunas situaciones es incomoda por su tamaño, con esta problema solucionado.

Le uso da più di un anno e non si sono mai rotte, anzi hanno mantenuto l'ottima capacità di taglio. Apprezzo molto la leggerezza e la potenza di taglio rapportata alla dimensione totale
