I'm out for revenge. He's out to rule the world. Kirill and I are as different as day and night. We shouldn't have been in the same frame or universe. But we meet under the strangest circumstances. He's my superior in the military and the man who'll introduce me to carnage. His charm and exterior perfection shouldn't have tempted me. Behind the smokescreen lurks a manipulative emotionless monster. And that monster might find out all my secrets, including the reason why I'm pretending to be a man. He might also lure me to the point of no return. Review: perfection ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - To say, I was excited about Sasha and Kirrill is an understatement. I have been always fascinated about the couple, about they met, why was Sasha pretending to be a man and why Kirril out of all people helping her keep her secret safe. I absolutely loved this book. This was yet one another perfection from Rina Kent. I loved the bicker between Sasha and kirril. How she was always on his mind no matter where he is. How possessive alpha he is and oh my god that mouth of his. I cannot actually wait for book 2 and 3. Trust me I am wishing I could go straight to March Review: marvellous - The plot is amazing characters are defined. it’s also in my heart of character is growing strong and confident as the story continues and Kirill has this magnetic aura and the relation between him and sasha protective possessive and how sasha is making space in his heart the overall plot is amazing, but however, I’m sceptic about , how mother is only loving one child and has this intense hatred towards the rest. I love the storyline, the characters no doubt, Rina Kent has beautiful story line

A good start ❤
This book certainly wasn't what I was expecting. I didn't expect Kirill to be so... Likeable. I went in thinking, "I don't know how I'd like this idiot" But even from his first appearance I kinda knew I'm gonna like him. Sasha's character was so good 🥺 Her pain so real and raw, and her and Kirill's relationship was really beautiful, I think. Here's to waiting for the next book ❤❤❤

My faves!
I literally could not put this book down! After waiting for so long to get Kirill & Sasha's story it felt surreal that I was finally reading it. I knew it would have a fantastic storyline and it did not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. Most importantly the chemistry between Sasha & Kirill never deteriorated. I loved the way Sasha went from being wary of Kirill to always ensuring his safety. I am so glad that they're getting a trilogy because I just can't get enough of these two and it's just the beginning. Als oafter that crazy cliffhanger, I am so excited to read the next book when it releases!

New fan!
Rina Kent is a new-to-me author, and I can honestly say I’m completely blown away. This trilogy was my first taste of her writing, and I’m already hooked. Her storytelling is masterful—filled with intricate connections between characters and storylines that span across her books. The twists and turns had me constantly guessing, and not once did I feel bored. If this is what her other books are like, I’m in for an incredible reading journey. Kirill and Sasha’s story was the perfect introduction to her work. From the very first page, I couldn’t put it down. I’m so glad I waited until the trilogy was complete because those cliffhangers in books 1 and 2 would have been too much to handle! Kirill was everything you’d want in a mafia hero—possessive, obsessive, and completely devoted to Sasha. His monologues had me laughing out loud at times, showing a side of him I didn’t expect. The story had it all: intense military and mafia action, a found family element, the one-bed trope, heartfelt groveling, and those unforgettable “That’s my wife!” moments that melted my heart. While there was a lot of miscommunication between Kirill and Sasha, their reasons for holding back made sense, and it only made their eventual reunion more satisfying. By book 3, we got to see a completely different side of Kirill as he stopped at nothing to win Sasha back. His intensity didn’t waver, but his softer, more vulnerable side shone through beautifully. The ending left me feeling so fulfilled—seeing Sasha finally embrace her true self and Kirill reveal the depth of his love was everything I could’ve hoped for. I can’t wait to get stuck into more of her books this year!

Inaspettato

Devoured 🖤
I've always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with Rina's books, but this just might be up there as a fav dark mafia romance. I was hooked from the start right until the cliffhanger shattered me. I love Kirill in all his dark, gloomy, and forbidden glory. Sasha is such a badass even though even I want to tell her to shut up sometimes 🤣 These two are fire together, and I can't wait to get right back into their story. After nearly her whole family is massacred, she's forced to go into hiding and hide her identity. With the help of her uncle, she enlists in the army hiding behind the mask of a man to try and find out who put the hit on her family. The russian army is no place for a woman, especially one pretending to be a man. When her unit comes into contact with a special ops unit at their base, she's saved by the Captain. A man who's eyes are just as black as his soul but being in his unit would ensure her safety so she sets out to make it happen only to discover he's know her true gender from the beginning. Despite the fact that her uncle tells her he and his family are bad news, she doesn't change her course. But when the man who sat at her families table days before she lost them all steps foot on their base it turns her whole world upside down especially when she finds out he's the father of her new captain. She's determined to find out if he's involved too, no matter how much danger it puts her in, but will she go too far on her quest for revenge and end up on the wrong side whilst seeking justice for her family.

Absolutely PERFECT
I can't even explain to you how much I absolutely, completely LOVED this book and its characters. I'm just in AWE, in love and satiated after finishing the first part of this story (and yes, in shock and angst after that brutal cliffhanger!). Right now I would tell you without a doubt that this is my favorite book lol Yeah, I must admit in the beginning I felt a bit put off by Sasha being in the military, dressed as a man and no one notices?! (except from Kirill, of course), but then, I really enjoyed the whole thing and how this didn’t prevent Sasha from being/wanting to be/feel like a woman nor the growing attraction between them. It was actually a great stepping stone to tons of funny and... interesting moment between them. I LOVED the combination of military men + mafia men. I just, can't. I can't believe how perfect this combination is until I came across this book and, girl, KIRILL. OH MY GOD. This man is EVERYTHING. SO serious, competent, intense, masculine, beastly, strong, dominant, confident, sexy. Everything he DOES AND SAY. How could Sasha ever resist him?! I loved reading how his mind worked, and how we could clearly differentiate between each point of view because of how different the two main characters are. THE WAY SASHA SEES HIM AND DESCRIBES HIM was a turn on in itself. The descriptions and observations were so vivid, they painted such a real picture of this man that yeah, it took my breath away and I felt just like Sasha, unable to not "look" at him. And Sasha! I can easily say that she's my favorite female character ever. I just LOVED how strong she was, in the mental and resilient sense of the word (and I'm sure physically too, if she could keep up with a military regime nonetheless), but also how sassy (without being annoying) and feminine and lovely! And that, regardless of Kirill's stoicness and distance, she chooses (can't help herself?) to still be vulnerable in front of him (cries, shows and expresses her desires). I loooove her! It's truly been a while since I read such a perfect combination of a female character, one that doesn’t need to belittle men to be/feel strong and one that gives in to her... femininity too. I don't know, JUST READ IT. So... the two of them together? PERFECTION. Them, the story, their story, all the other characters and drama. Totally recommend it!
